The recent release of Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty DLC has caused several annoying problems. One of them is a bug that causes perks to stop working. In this guide you will learn how to fix it.

Perks not working in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is a huge update that introduced many changes to the game. Unfortunately, along with them there were also bugs. One of them makes it impossible to level up characters. Every attempt to assign perks ends with a message reading INVALID INPUT.

There are several solutions to this problem. Here is a list of them:

  1. If you have played Cyberpunk 2077 with mods, then the first thing you should do is uninstall them. However, you must remember that you should delete all files associated with them. Simply deactivating them does not guarantee trouble-free gameplay.
  2. You may also want to check the integrity of game files. You will do this through the platform on which you purchased the game.
  3. Another way to solve the problem is to reinstall the entire game. However, before you do this, you need to make sure that there are no files left from the previous version of Cyberpunk 2077.
  4. As a last resort, you can also try a driver update.
