The game won't force us to kill every opponent.

During the demo show of Cyberpunk 2077 at this year's E3, CD Projekt Red revealed that you can finish the game without killing any opponents. Last year the devs assured that this option would not be available in the final version of the game. However, after collecting the fans' opinions, they decided to introduce non-lethal treatment as well.

Almost every weapon in the game will have the ability to get rid of your opponent in a conflict-free manner. Stunning or putting them to sleep with special projectiles is just one of many options for dealing with the enemy. The exception are lethal weapons, such as bazooka, in which case it is hard to even imagine a "stealth kill".

During the demo show we also learned that the game will offer many opportunities to complete the missions quietly. Sneaking around and stunning enemies will be the order of the day, and creative use of the environment will allow you to get rid of unwanted enemies.

Our hero's hacking skills will also be used for silent elimination. Turning off cameras, uploading viruses to enemy implants, or hacking nearby devices - all this we will be able to do in order to get rid of our enemies in an even more unconventional manner. A great example can be hacking a machine with drinks so that it starts spitting out cans, which will distract the attention of our enemies.

While stealth gameplay requires more patience and is not for everyone, it is pleasing that the creators have listened to their fans and added such a possibility. The game will have its launch on April 16, 2020 and will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One consoles. It is possible to buy the game in advance right now. You can find out more about it here.
