Thanks to documents revealed in the lawsuit between Epic Games and Apple, we've learned how much revenue one of the world's most popular games, Fortnite, provides its developers.
IN A NUTSHELL:
Thanks to the litigation between Epic Games and Apple, we've gained some insight into the former's financial situation, including information about the revenue generated by the megahit Fortnite (via The Verge). It turns out that they reached a staggering $9.17 billion in just two years.

What's more, Epic Games was projecting that Fortnite would generate another $2.8 billion in revenue in 2020, despite a decline in user numbers. In comparison, Unreal Engine earned a total of $221 million in 2018-2019 (the prediction for 2020 assumed a revenue of 100 million dollars).
Also without comparison are the total revenues from all other games (such as Battle Breakers or the hit developed by Epic Games-owned studio Psyonix - Rocket League), which amounted to $108 million in the years in question. The gap between Fortnite and everything else is therefore colossal.
