We may have already learned when God of War Ragnarok will be released. The game received an age rating in Korea, and official goodies are lining up for sale.
All we've known on the subject of God of War Ragnarok's launch is that the players would have to be patient, but it's coming this year. We've been informed of the fact by the game's director Cory Barlog himself.
However, it is possible that we just found out when this waiting period will end and the game will finally hit the store shelves.
The theory that the game's launch is coming soon seems to be confirmed by the offer of Geeky Zone. This store sells a lot of gadgets connected with pop culture, and recently it put up God of War Ragnarok merchandise for sale.

They are currently on pre-order and will start shipping to consumers in 125 days. If their shipment date is tied to the game's release, it would mean that the title will debut on the market around September 29.
Of course, this is not the same as confirming that Ragnarok will actually appear on store shelves on that day. However, this date is connected in an interesting way with earlier reports by Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat.
According to the journalist, there could be a big Sony show in September. It is possible that the company would then decide to make a big presentation of the upcoming God of War, which would go on sale shortly thereafter.
The fact that the game is almost ready also seems to be confirmed by the fact that it has receivedan age rating (via TheGamer) in South Korea. Games are only rated for age restrictions once they are close to being completed.
God of War Ragnarok was recognized by the Game Management Committee as a game for adult gamers. This decision was influenced by vulgar language, drug references, and alcohol, among other things.
Of course, the result of the rating was easy to predict and much more important information is the very fact that the game went through the whole process.
