Gran Turismo 7 has received its first post-launch update. Patch 1.06 adds a small interface tweak and dozens of tracks to choose from in the music replay after the race, and most importantly fixes a ton of bugs.
Gran Turismo 7 is out and running at an amazing speed. Delight is the word that describes the lion's share of reviews of Sony Interactive Entertainment's new car game.
Apparently, however, the developers at Polyphony Digital have decided that masterpieces also need improvement, GT7 has now received its first post-release update.
Among the changes made in patch 1.06, the following are worth noting The addition of a wind speed and direction indicator. The interface now features it in the upper right corner of the screen, under the track map. Another nice touch are sixty-four additional tracks to choose from in the music replay after the race.
A number of glitches have been fixed. Polyphony Digital says it has fixed a number of issues relating to saving progress (a bug that prevented some players from continuing the game), specific tracks, car settings, and the online mode.
GT7 developers have recently confirmed that there will be a number of improvements and bonuses that are not listed in this particular update. Digital racing enthusiasts can look forward to new cars, tracks and competitions.
