Gran Turismo 7's New Trailer Shows Hot Brakes

The developers of Gran Turismo 7 have unveiled the appearance of car brakes in their game. They are the result of a partnership with Brembo. Players can look forward to lots of advertising on the tracks.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Gran Turismo 7 received a new trailer;
  • It focuses on the appearance of car brakes in the game;
  • This is the result of a partnership with the Italian manufacturer Brembo.

Game developers often brag about specific elements of their titles in trailers. Some focus on advanced physics, others on beautiful graphics, and still others on original gameplay elements. Polyphony Digital, the studio responsible for Gran Turismo 7, has decided to impress players with the look of its car brakes.

Of course, this action is dictated by marketing decisions. The official partner of the game is Brembo, an Italian brake system manufacturer, whose roots date back to 1961. The short, very dramatic trailer presents the moments from the history of the brand, as well as its products in action.

We must admit that this element actually looks quite good. Red-hot brake discs are always a satisfying sight. But will the partnership between Brembo and Polyphony Digital affect the gaming experience in any way?

If you enjoy watching race replays, then yes. It's only then that you'll notice the detail shown in the trailer. Other than that, the only thing you' should expect are the numerous ads from the Italian manufacturer that will take up key spots on the virtual tracks.

You'll see how things will look like on screen on March 4, 2022. That's when Gran Turismo 7 will launch on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
