Yesterday's release of GTA V for free on Epic Games Store met with great interest. So great in fact, that it caused server overload and prevented the platform from functioning properly. Although the crash has been resolved, there are still some minor problems. One of them is the appearance of a message: "Your account is unable to download any more free games at this time" when trying to reclaim Rockstar's title. If you have received such a notification, not everything is lost. According to the entry posted on the store's Twitter, all you have to do is wait a day and try to finalize the transaction again. For the impatient, the community has found some quicker solutions.
Changing the network
The first and simplest solution is to change the network to which the computer is connected (via Reddit). Before logging into your Epic Games Store account, you must change your Internet source. You can use your phone as a modem for this purpose (this function is activated in your smartphone settings). This way you can add GTA V to your library using mobile data. Once you have received the game you can return to the network you are using by default to download the title.
The second option is to log in to your account and add the game from your mobile device with Wi-Fi turned off. In this way, when you run the client on your computer, the game is already in the library, ready for download.
Another way to get rid of the error message is to reclaim the title with the VPN running (via Attack of the fan boy). However, to use this method you must have a special program or use the Opera browser, which has a built-in tool of this type.
GTA V launched in September 2013 and since then it has been enjoying a great popularity.
