Here's What Next-gen Edition of GTA 5 Should Look Like

Rockstar must really get to work on the improved version of GTA 5 for Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5 if is to satisfy the fans. Thanks to modders the game looks amazing on PC.

In March 2022, owners of 9th-gen consoles will be able to play a refreshed version of GTA V. The main advantages of the new edition of this 8-year old game are to be improvements and graphic options that will take advantage of the processing power of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and - to a lesser extent - Xbox Series S. So how should Los Santos look after the facelift? Let's hope it's no worse than the PC version of GTA V with a few mods installed. The level of visuals possible to achieve on PC in presented on the video below.

The author of the video (which has been viewed more than 2.7 million times in ten days), YouTube user INTER, used such modifications as QuantV Graphics Mod, NaturalVision Evolved Graphics Mod, 'Lively World Expansion' Vegetation/Props Mod or Ray Tracing Shader (full list can be found in the description under this video). In order to run this GTA V on steroids, the netizen used a very powerful computer (equipped, among others, with an Intel Core i9-10900K processor, GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card and 64 GB of RAM).

No console available on the market can compete with that, of course. Nevertheless, the company should squeeze out whatever it can from PS5 and XSX for this remaster to sense, satisfy indifferent fans and not give everyone the same bad aftertaste as GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.
