Do you have issues with finding The Sieve to obtain Graviton Spike hand cannon? Here you will find all the information necessary to get the weapon.
It goes without saying that Bungie has seen better days. Probably no one needs to be reminded about Marathon fiasco that killed the game before it even launched. The trust that the studio has earned was lost, and so building it anew is the devs only chance to stay afloat. As one would expect, their best bet right now is to put all the money on Destiny 2, a jewel in their crown. Just as the company needs a fresh opening, The Edge of Fate, the most recent expansion for this 2017 title, starts with a new saga happening on Kepler planetoid. Of course, the good portion of the game revolves around looter shooter elements, and this DLC only builds upon it by introducing more gear to hunt for. One of the most desired armaments is undeniably Graviton Spike that requires you to get and complete The Sieve. How to do it? Here you will find the answer.
Being a looter shooter, Destiny 2 takes its best chances to draw in players before Borderlands 4 releases later this year. To get the most out of The Edge of Fate expansion, you should definitely get your hands on a new, exotic hand cannon called Graviton Spike. Obtaining it, though, will put you through your paces… and The Sieve. Getting to that location, however, can be a bit convoluted, so worry not if you have issues with that.
Since you are here looking for The Sieve, you have probably already completed The Edge of Fate campaign… because if not, that’s the very first thing that you need to do. Only then you will get access to “Graviton Through the Ages” exotic quest. The task requires you to collect four Graviton Spike weapon pieces. After doing so, Lodi will ask you to complete The Sieve.
This arena event can be found in newly added zone in the game – Kepler. You can get there from Portal tab, by clicking on a green-ish planet next to “The Edge of Fate” text on the left side of the screen. That’s not the whole story, though, as The Sieve is a time limited Arena event. What does it mean? That if you can’t find it on the map, you simply have to wait a bit. Being time-bound, it appears and disappears from the world periodically. If it’s not there, brew yourself a tea or a coffee, depending on which you prefer, and try again. Successfully completing The Sieve will reward you with Graviton Spike, ending this lengthy quest.
It is not the only confusing mission in Destiny’s new expansion. Dark Academia and Fallow tasks are not very straightforward to complete either. Some fans don’t even bother launching The Edge of Fate at all due to its formidable download size. Let’s hope that those minor issues won’t stop you from getting the exotic firearm. Good luck!
