Minecraft Classic in Your Browser

Minecraft is celebrating its tenth birthday this year. On this occasion, Mojang released a browser edition of the classic version of this production. You can play it alone or invite up to nine companions.

To celebrate Minecraft's tenth birthday, the developers at Mojang Studio surprised the gamers with a browser version of the "classic" edition of the game. Thanks to this, anyone who does not understand Minecraft's phenomenon or has not had contact with it before, has the opportunity to catch up in a simple and quick way, and who knows - maybe even to revise their views?

Minecraft Classic, because that is the name of this position, can be found at this address. After clicking on the link, simply enter your username and press the "Start" button to start playing. In addition, up to nine companions can be invited to the game - to do this, you need to send them a link generated in the text field above.

This is Minecraft, not what you kids call Minecraft nowadays.

It is worth noting that our capabilities in this version of the game are limited; quite enough to say that the devs give us thirty-two types of blocks, from which we can build various objects. Besides, there's a classic interface and even... original bugs. In short, everything is as it was created by Markus "Notch" Persson.

Speaking of Notch, it is worth mentioning that the creator of Minecraft, as well as the founder of Mojang, was not invited to celebrate the tenth birthday of his work, which will be held on May 17 at the devs' headquarters (during which the developers are to summarize the history of the project and present its development plans to fans). Earlier, meantions of him were removed from the main menu. The reason for this are his controversial views - he is accused of racism and homophobia, among other things.
