  2. It is the debut work of Nepos Games;
  3. In terms of mechanics and visuals the title resembles classic titles such as Pharaoh.

Fans of classic city-builder strategies have no reason to complain lately. The genre revived and new games appear on the market. Today, Nebuchadnezzar, the debut title of the Czech studio Nepos Games, hit the market. On this occasion, a trailer was presented, available below.

In terms of mechanics, the game resembles the classic titles from Impressions Games, such as Caesar 3 or Pharaoh. In the game we play the role of the city manager - our task is to expand it and achieve certain goals, while taking care of the residents' satisfaction and maintaining financial liquidity. Of course, we see the entire game from isometric perspective.

The developers have made sure that the game includes buildings that are associated with Mesopotamia and Babylon. Among them we can find hanging gardens. It is worth noting here that this monument can be edited and form unique combinations.

The game also includes an extensive story campaign which will enable us to get to know the fate of Mesopotamia. The whole thing was divided into 16 missions, each representing a specific historical period - from the first people settling in the valley of the Euphrates and Tigris to the 6th century BC and the Persian conquest of Babylon.

In terms of graphics the game is very similar to what we know from works of Impressions, especially if we pay attention to character models.

Nebuchadnezzar can be purchased on Steam and GOG.com for less than $20.
