Original message

For over a month now, many fans of The Witcher from Netflix have been asking for an official release of its soundtrack. Even a #FreeTheWitcherOST campaign was created on Twitter, gaining some popularity. Nevertheless, the owners of the popular streaming platform were not in a hurry to fulfill this wish. Fortunately, the period of their idleness is over. It has been announced that the soundtrack from The Witcher series will be released on January 24. Milan Records will be its distributor.

The soundtrack for The Witcher was composed by the Sonya Belousov - Gion Ostinelli duo. From tomorrow it will be available on Amazon, iTunes and Spotify. On the latter, you can already listen to Toss a Coin to Your Witchera song performed by Joey Batey, playing the character of Jaskier.

Ready for over 3 hours of music from The Witcher?

There are also plans to release the soundtrack on CDs and vinyl. As Belousova revealed on Instagram, physical versions will make their debut in stores in the coming days.

The official soundtrack from The Witcher series consists of 55 tracks in total. That gives 3 hours and 2 minutes of music. Impressive numbers, but as Redanian Intelligence noted, some compositions are still missing from the soundtrack, such as Don't Ever Come Back to Blaviken from the beginning of the first episode or Jaskier's song titled You Think You're Safe from episode two.

We would like to remind that despite some controversies, the The Witcher turned out to be a huge success for Netflix. During the first four weeks, the production was watched on 76 million user accounts (including people who turned on at least one episode for 2 minutes). No wonder the owners of the popular platform intend to strike iron while it's hot. The production of the second season, ordered even before the premiere of the first one, has already started. In addition, there is an animated film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf produced by South Korean Studio Mir, known for The Legend of Korra.
