Today, Partisans 1941, a stealth WWII strategy game inspired by the Commandos series, will debut on the market.
The release of Partisans 1941, a tactical stealth game modelled on the first three installments of the Commandos series, is here. The game will be released exclusively on PC, available on Steam, where it will be unlocked around 8 AM PT. We have waited a long time for the game. It was announced over two years ago and was initially due to be released last year, but it has been delayed a few times.
For the time being, only one review of Partisans 1941 has appeared on the web - Wccftech gave the game 7.8/10. The editor praised the stealth sequences, including conducting recon and setting up ambushes. The reviewer criticized too bland combat, however. All in all, despite some minor problems, he enjoyed the game.
Partisans 1941 is one of several new games inspired by Commandos. This category was practically forgotten by developers, but it was revived by the success of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun three years ago. Since then, fans of the genre have also received Desperados III and Commandos 2: HD Remaster, and the Polish War Mongrels are waiting in line for launch.
Before deciding to purchase Partisans 1941 it is worthwhile to familiarize yourself with the system requirements, especially since the final ones differ from those revealed in June this year.
