Steam organized a special offer that enables us to get the full version of Republique, a stealth game by studio Camouflaj, for free. In the same way, you can also get Republique VR, which is a special edition of the former game, adapted to virtual reality devices.
We don't know if the offer is time-limited, so we advise interested parties to hurry, just in case. As is the case with this type of action, if you add the game to your Steam library during it, it will remain there forever, even if the deal ends.
The free offer was prepared on the occasion of the 10th birthday of Camouflaj. The team was founded in 2010 by industry veterans who previously worked on such productions as Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, F.E.A.R. or Halo 4.
Resources to start the development of Republique was raised in 2010 on Kickstater, where players supported the authors with $555,000. Originally the game was released in an episodic model (the free version available on Steam includes all episodes) on iOS, but over time the game was also ported to PC and consoles. Two years ago, a Google Stadia version was also released.
PC version of Republique met with a warm reception - on Steam 76% of player reviews are positive, which is categorized as "mostly positive" reception.
