Rumor: The Outer Worlds 2 in Pre-production

According to the recent industry leaks, work on The Outer Worlds 2 has started. Currently, Obsidian Entertaiment is to be busy with pre-production of the new game.

IN A NUTSHELL:

The Outer Worlds will hit Steam on October 23, this year.
Obsidian Entertainment is already working on the sequel.

A sequel to The Outer Worlds is very likely. Shortly after the release date of the first part appeard on Steam, Niko Partners' renowned analyst Daniel Ahmad reported that the sequel to The Outer Worlds is in the pre-production phase.

Ahmad added, however, that as the situation develops, the game may become something completely different, but for the moment, it functions as The Outer Worlds 2.

If you haven't had a chance to check out Obsidian Entertainment's latest game yet and for some reason the purchase in Epic Games store scared you away, the game will be available on Steam from October 23.
