Spider-Man: Miles Morales Patch Added Ray Tracing in 60 FPS

Insomniac Games has introduced a new graphic mode in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The final patch enables us to enjoy ray tracing in 60 fps on PlayStation 5.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales has received another update on PlayStation 5. Patch 1.007.001 is not one of the biggest (it weighs almost 262MB), but it does introduce some important novelties. Insomniac Game has added an alternative version of the Performance Mode, enabling us to enjoy the benefits of ray-tracing in 60 fps. You can find this option in the game settings (via @ax_zer0 on Twitter).

Of course, if we enable the Performance RT mode, you'll have to make some concessions. The description shows that the game adjusts the resolution, number of passers-by on the streets and the quality of reflections to maintain a constant 60 fps. Therefore, it is an option for players who want to play with ray-tracing on consoles, but not at the expense of smoothness. Anyway, it's a joy to see that the feature is available, which can't be said of native 4K suppory at constant 60 fps.
