GSC Game World has addressed the recent leak of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl files. The developers ask not to open and share the materials, which were uploaded to the web by Russian hackers.
A few days ago there was a major leak of files from the upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. What's more, they have been decrypted, so right now footage from development versions of the game is making rounds on the web. The incident probably occurred by a mistake made by GSC Game World itself. Nevertheless, it turns out that the case is nevertheless linked to Russian hackers, who put game footage online.

Even if Russian hackers are not directly linked to the latest leak, they have taken advantage of the situation and are releasing material from the second S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-a. Recall that in March they blackmailed the developers of the game with the reveal of tens of gigabytes of data, wanting to change their unfriendly attitude towards players from the country whose army invaded Ukraine. Shortly thereafter they fulfilled their threat.
GSC Game World is asking fans not to open or share any materials from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-a 2, which are already circulating online.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled to be released this year on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
