Delayed release of Starfield has certainly hurt a lot of gamers hungry for space adventures, but it may be a good thing for the game, as the extra time will enable the devs eliminate some of the bugs that like to appear in Bethesda's games. Starfield will certainly offer pretty good visuals, but what if it was created on the latest version of Unreal Engine?

Space Unreal Engine

If you're even remotely familiar with the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, you'll know that it can create breathtaking vistas. However, if you combine the capabilities of UE5 with the skills of a talented artist, you can come up with a real graphic gem. Pasquale Scionti, as he is referred to, is a senior lighting artist currently working at Ninja Theory on Hellblade 2, which will surely delight even the most demanding gamers in terms of graphics. Scionti prepared a short video inspired by Starfield, which shows just how the game could look like on Unreal Engine 5. See for yourself:

What can we expect from Starfield?

Bethesda is often criticized by players because of the numerous bugs that tend to stick around or the use of an outdated engine. However, the games released under the company's flag usually sell very well. The main reason why Skyrim lived to see several editions is the fact that players simply continue to buy it, although the credit should be given to modders who bravely support this game. With Starfield it will probably be the same. On the day of release, the reactions may be mixed and some players may be delighted with the space atmosphere, while another group will point out bugs and glitches, but I would not be surprised if Starfield becomes the new Skyrim and thanks to the work of modders will be developed for many years.
