How to acquire new movies?

1. Movies are one of the collectibles that can be found in the game world. Explore the various parts of the planet in detail: the one from the prologue and those from the main campaign.
2. The disc icon (example in the screenshot) informs about finding a new movie and initially, you won't be able to do anything about it yet.

How to watch a movie together with alters?

1. If you want to watch movies, you'll need a Social Room and Jan Technician is the one who can suggest building it. That's how you can unlock the related side task, A Place to Rest.
2. Constructing a Social Room requires 40x Metals and 30x Minerals. If necessary, find Shallow Deposits or mineral extraction sites on the planet's surface. It requires as many as 6 free slots.

1. Visit the Social Room in the evening hours, preferably right at 8 PM. The option to start a movie session is on the right side, next to the sofa and table.
2. While browsing movies, you can learn about their length; by default, it should be 3 hours. Therefore, it's important that you don't start too late, because it will shorten your working time the next day.

Rewards for watching a movie

1. Overall joy and improved mood for all viewers are the main rewards for watching a movie together. You can earn an additional bonus by watching a particular movie for the first time. That's why it is important to look around the planets surface in search for the next movies.
