This page in our guide to Days Gone focuses on Diamond Lake Camp. This is one of the two camps you will visit later in the game. Here, you can, e.g. unlock new missions or purchase the best parts for the bike.

Diamond Lake Camp is in Crater Lake region, one of the two southernmost regions in Days Gone - Days Gone: Diamond Lake - Encampments - Days Gone Guide

Diamond Lake Camp is in Crater Lake region, one of the two southernmost regions in Days Gone. You can't go there right away. This situation is similar to Iron Mike's Camp - you need to reach the point of the game where Deacon decides to head south to look for information about Sara. This will happen during Riding Nomad Again main quest.

You can't enter Diamond Lake Camp right after you reach Crater Lake. Deacon must complete a few tasks first, e.g. eliminate a Rager Bear. The trip to that camp is part of Not From Around Here main mission.

When you enter Diamond Lake Camp for the first time, you will meet with captain Kouri, the leader of this encampment - Days Gone: Diamond Lake - Encampments - Days Gone Guide

When you enter Diamond Lake Camp for the first time, you will meet with captain Kouri, the leader of this encampment. From now on you can visit this place as many times as you want to.

Kouri can have side missions for Deacon. Wait for the captain to contact you over the radio. Once that happens, go to the camp and listen to the details.

Not every mission and activity in Crater Lake is related to Diamond Lake Camp. This region has another encampment called Wizard Island. When you complete a mission/an activity, you can receive credits and Trust points for Wizard Island instead of Diamond Lake.

The mechanic is one of the most important NPCs in Diamond Lake - he sells the best bike parts in the entire game - Days Gone: Diamond Lake - Encampments - Days Gone Guide

The mechanic is one of the most important NPCs in Diamond Lake - he sells the best bike parts in the entire game. Sadly, many of them require you to have a specific Trust level. Below you can find parts that, in our opinion, are the most important:

  1. Saddlebags IV - Thanks to them, you will be able to refill ammo supplies multiple times without the need of going back to a camp or looking for loot. This is extremely helpful when you are facing hordes of Freakers - it is easy to run out of ammo when you have to shoot several dozen enemies.
  2. Gas Tank V - You will be able to travel longer distances without refueling.
  3. Nitrous III - One of the main reasons to get this upgrade is to unlock Burnout Apocalypse trophy. You will also be able to travel around the world faster.
The merchant from Diamond Lake doesnt sell any weapons - Days Gone: Diamond Lake - Encampments - Days Gone Guide

The merchant from Diamond Lake doesn't sell any weapons. However, you can visit this NPC to restock ammo, buy suppressors and consumables.
