Bad Way to Go Out

This stage you will start directly after I Sawy We Head North (Chasing Leon) while standing in front of a gas station full of Freakers. The best solution is to kill as many enemies in stealth mode as possible, so as not to expose yourself to the whole group of opponents. Use bushes and eliminate enemies from the back using the Triangle on your game pad.

In the buildings you will often find many crafting items and simple melee weapons.

Stay on the right side and don't worry about groups of opponents. Move towards the village and climb through the window into the building to go unnoticed. In addition, you will find some medicines and a melee weapon (like baseball bat.) Later, head to the wooden garage; behind it, on the square, you will find another enemy.

It is worth to eliminate enemies quietly: you do not lose ammunition, do not pose a threat to fight with the whole Horde, and you get more experience (for Freakers it is by default 35XP for silent elimination; 20XP otherwise; and for various enemies, you get a different number of experience points).

On the table in the corridor you can also find a paper: one of secrets (Tourism - 9. I'm looking for a Hot Guy) and some ammo in the locker nearby.

Exit the building through the front door and head for the hill, walking down the street to the right. There you are waited for by three human opponents - The Rippers. You can sneak up to one of them and kill him quietly; the other two have to be defeated with the use of firearms or by hand-to-hand combat.

After watching the cutscene, get to the tower, which is currently your hideout. First, use the gun locker. Once you unlock a new weapon, it will be able to manage it from this place. It is worth visiting this hideout often, because some random crafting materials and ammunition will spawn in the chest at the entrance.

Go to the enemy camp under the mountain

When you exit through the gate, you will see a figure below the slope. Follow this character, and when you stop at the camp, develop a plan to eliminate the enemies and clear the camp. Go to the guards standing at the entrance to overhear their conversation - when it's over, the opponents will disperse, and you can eliminate quietly.

Using binoculars (D-pad: Up), you can tag enemies to track their movements and better plan your next actions. You shouldn't have any problems in getting rid of all enemies, (6) without being noticed.

Note that when you walk while crouching you still generate noise. Then, when approaching enemy from behind, you can make him turn away if you react too slow. Being around 2-3 meters away from the opponent reduce a little pressure on the pad's handle to move in silently.

Now go to the place where in the previous mission you left your bike, following the marker. It is worth taking the path on the left, through a small hill to avoid the Freakers. On the spot there is no motorcycle - run after the man to get to his hideout: you are not going to fight here, you are going to enter the camp.

  1. After a conversation with Copeland you will find on his tables two secrets (Characters) - 2. Copeland - "The Right to Bear Arms", 3. Copeland - "Hunting Season".
  2. Go back down again to talk to Manny, and the mission will be completed - for the full completion of this quest you will get experience and trust points in the Copeland's Camp (more trust means better trading opportunities with the camp team).
  3. Now you can choose another storyline, or continue the Gear Up For the Ride.
  1. Now you available mission from the storyline: He's My Brother - You Got a Death Wish, the goal of this mission is the closest one.
  • Now, before the gate there is a motorcycle that you can use.

No Starving Patriots

After the mission, He's My Brother - You Got a Death Wish go back to Copeland's Camp and talk to him to get this new mission. Head north to the broadcasting tower, where the Rippers have set up camp. There are 8 people there for elimination, and reinforcements will arrive. So this number will increase to 14. Take a lot of ammunition and medical supplies with you. Also, a silencer is welcome.

When you clear the camp, go into the bunker (before that activate the switch on the transformer, which will be indicated by the marker of the mission): the hatch leading to it is in a small building near the transformers.

In each of the bunkers in the enemy camps you will find this map.

In the bunker, analyze the map - this way you will clear the enemy camps, and collecting the map will allow you to mark numerous interaction points on it. It also unlocks new crafting plans that allows you to create new items (the list of plans can be viewed in the mission preview: you can see a list of plans that you unlock by clearing other enemy camps explored on the world map; the order does not matter - the plans are unlocked along with the number of unlocked camps).

  1. Immediately after this mission, start the task: Sounded Like Engines (He's My Brother), which is set in the same place - just get on the radio tower.

Drugged Outta His Mind

To unlock this mission, complete previous tasks: No Starving Patriots and Smoke on the Mountain (He's My Brother) missions.

During pursuits of this type pocket SMG and nitro for motorcycle are very useful. - Days Gone: Gear Up For The Ride - walkthrough - Main storyline - Days Gone Guide
During pursuits of this type pocket SMG and nitro for motorcycle are very useful.

That's when the chase starts. Don't let your opponent escape: attack him by driving into him (nitro is useful here), shoot at him from your sidearm weapon (shotgun or SMG are the most effective options here). Chase him until you reduce his stamina bar at the top of the screen. This task leads to a new storyline called It's Not Safe Here (You're Safe Now).

Everyone Has to Work

Another quest from this series will become available when you complete the quest: It's Not Safe Here (You're Safe Now).

After talking with Tucker, head North towards NERO camp - Days Gone: Gear Up For The Ride - walkthrough - Main storyline - Days Gone Guide

After talking with Tucker, head North towards NERO camp. However, stop earlier, at a smaller base with a high radio tower. When you're done with the Freakers, go up to the tower. Free the tied woman. You will complete your mission after watching the cutscene.

No One Saw it Coming

This task will begin immediately after the task called What Have They Done (You're Safe Now). Go back up the hill to the Boozer. Take him on a motorcycle and take him to a new camp. In this mission you unlock a new piece of the map - so it is necessary to deal with all the tasks in the previous region (of course you can go back there later). The whole mission is only a small trip. You will also unlock two missions: I Won't Kill Anyone- the next mission that occurs immediately after your current task, and I Should Have Left Her (I Remember); it's the last mission of the Gear Up For the Ride storyline.
