Days Gone: How to fight while riding a motorcycle?
Deacon can fight without slipping off the bike, and it is not very intuitive. Initially, you may have problems with understanding the operation of this mechanism. This page of our guide to Days Gone explains in detail how to perform attacks while moving.
Deacon can only use primary cache weapon while driving. Depending on the type of weapon selected it will be some kind of pistol or shotgun. You cannot, unfortunately, use the main weapon and special weapons, as all these weapons require the use of both hands of the hero.
You can attack:
- Other bikers.
- Opponents traveling on foot.
- Freakers.
- Wild animals.
When you approach the target, press L1 to lock the sight at the enemy. This will allow you to keep moving and make more shots at the same time. Repeated pressing on the L1 allow you to "move" with your sight to the next opponents. This is useful if you want to attack one observed enemy (for example, the targets from bounty hunter missions).
Shoot by pressing R1, and it is very desirable to wait until the sight is reduced in size and changes color to green. This kind of shooting will have high accuracy and may save you some ammo.
An alternative method of fighting on the motorcycle is hitting in selected targets with your vehicle. This is not the recommended, as any collisions can seriously damage the bike. In addition, attacking too strong opponent can knock Deacon off the motorcycle. Use this method only if you run out of ammo for the weapon or if the target is running fast (for example, a wild animal).
