What is Kingdom Eighties about?

Kingdom Eighties is the fourth part of rather original, pixel art 2D, side-scroll strategies. But instead of knights, horses, and kingdoms, we're having fun in the titular 80s. In a small town, monsters start appearing, drawn by a mysterious power called Greed. Moving around with a group of kids on BMX bikes, we gather resources, build fortifications and finally - we fight with the forces of Greed. Associations with E.T., Stranger Things, or The Goonies are definitely appropriate!

What makes it worth playing?

Kingdom Eighties is filled to the top with references to the previously mentioned productions and 80s culture creations. Apart from the main gameplay, the pleasure in itself is searching for all those secrets, more or less hidden by the developer. Both the strategic aspect and the combat mechanics standing at a decent level. Players who haven't had any previous contact with the series should be most satisfied. The game doesn't overwhelm with excessive complexity or difficulty level. In conclusion, it's worth mentioning the audio-visual setting, as Kingdom Eighties is one of the most beautiful pixel arts, supported by an atmospheric, synthesizer soundtrack, as befits the "eighties".
