What is Dredge about?

Dredge is quite an original story about fishing. We play as a novice fisherman who wants to enrich himself by selling the gifts of the sea on an archipelago of small islands. However, it turns out that the surroundings waters are full of dark secrets and to make things worse, a sinister cult decides to complicate the whole thing for us. What's more, it turns out that searching for powerful artifacts is quite profitable. Besides truly Lovecraftian atmospheres straight out of horror and the struggle for survival, there are also economic threads - with the purchase of better and better cutters, fishing rods and increasingly powerful artifacts at the forefront.

What makes it worth playing?

Dredge was liked by both reviewers and players. The successful combination of a thrilling atmosphere with relaxing fishing is particularly praised. The game encourages exploration, it doesn't try to lead by the hand, it can be intriguing or scary, depending on what time of day is coming for the hero. This is basically a horror masked as a story about calm, leisurely fishing with inventive mini-games. Both of these completely different elements turned out brilliantly and complement each other perfectly here, creating a one-of-a-kind mix. A sin not to check it out in person!
