What is Season: A Letter to the Future about?

Season: A Letter to the Future is a atmospheric adventure about impermanence and the impending inevitable change. We control Estella, a young girl who until now has lived somewhere high in the mountains, isolating herself from the rest of society. Once upon a time, she goes on a bike trip to document the world around her, aware that it will all come to an end in a moment, that some kind of end is coming. Question is - end of the titular season or of the whole world? The gameplay focuses on exploration, making notes, conducting conversations, and photographing what surrounds us. It is supposed to give us the answer to the question: what is actually supposed to pass away? What is the risk of this? Will there be anything later?

What makes it worth playing?

Season: A Letter to the Future is a beautiful game, somewhat relaxing, but also encouraging to inner thought. It's more of an emotional audiovisual experience than a gameplay challenge. A story that stays in memory and forces us to reflect and interpret. The only activity here is cycling, but not at all for racing - to experience the sense of speed. In Season: A Letter to the Future the destination of the journey is more important than the journey itself.
