What is A Space for the Unbound about?

A Space for the Unbound is a standard 2D adventure game, where we observe the action from the side, but set in a fairly original setting. We move to 90s Indonesia, where some powerful force threatens not only the heroes, but the whole world. So we travel through our small town, looking for clues and help in preventing disaster, but also getting to know the residents, their problems, and ourselves better. The game mainly focuses on exploration and conversations, with the occasional environmental puzzles to solve.

What makes it worth playing?

For a niche, pixel-art adventure, one of the thousands of similar independent games, A Space for the Unbound can boast over two thousand overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam - quite good for a story about teenagers in Indonesia. Players appreciate the exceptionally emotional, beautiful storyline that can bring them to tears. The developers address issues such as depression, anxiety, or paranormal phenomena - and you can often pet cats here! This is supposedly a worthy successor to To the Moon - it carries a similar emotional charge.
