Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition

The complete edition of the game DmC: Devil May Cry released for PC and seventh generation consoles in 2013 as the fifth installment in Capcom's popular hack-and-slash franchise. The game, which is a reboot of the whole series, takes place simultaneously in two worlds: the human one and the infernal one. The player is cast in the role of an uncompromising warrior named Dante, whose task is to stop the hordes of demons that made it to the human world through interdimensional portals.
Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni

An action game developed by Japanese studio Tamsoft for the portable console PlayStation Vita. The main characters of Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni are teenage female warriors that are the victims of the mysterious V virus which gave them paranormal abilities. The girls are living on an island isolated from the world and together they fight hordes of mutants. The mechanics of Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni are similar to ones used in classic Japanese TPP hack and slash games like Devil May Cry.
Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada

Another installment in the series of dynamical action games traditionally developed by Omega Force. This time the player assumes the role of Yukimura Sanada, one of the more popular protagonists of the series. We follow his story from birth, through the trainings that prepare him to combat, to the civil war and death during the siege of Osaka. The gameplay is similar to the one present in the previous games in the series and is based on battles with thousands of participants.
BioShock 2 Remastered

A remastered version of the second installment of the popular BioShock series that was initially released in 2010 for PC and the 7th-generation consoles. In the game, we are once again taken to the underwater city of Rapture, featured in the original BioShock, and the gameplay is focused on exploration, solving puzzles, and fighting encountered hostiles.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series

A simple adventure game for VR headgear, developed by ILMxLab, the creators of a similar game Trials of Tatooine. The creative team of Darth Vader VR included the famous screenwriter David S. Goyer, and the story he wrote is considered as canon in the Star Wars universe, placing it on par with the comics and the movies. A the title suggests, you play as Darth Vader himself and learn a new original story focused on him.

A sandbox survival simulator with adventure and horror features from Thai studio Phoenix. It is an extended version of a 2013 amateur project built on CryEngine. We play as an anonymous character, who wakes up on endless desert. Naturally, his only goal is to survive and escape from the hellish place, which requires solving many puzzles, exploring the game’s world and developing our character, who learns new, useful skills.

The main character of the production is the titular Aragami - an assassin who has risen from the dead and has been endowed with supernatural abilities. Hard Reset: Redux

An improved edition of Hard Reset - a cyberpunk first-person shooter developed by Flying Wild Hog (the creators of the successful Shadow Warrior remake). Although the original game (2011) was released exclusively for PCs, Hard Reset: Redux received console versions for the eighth generation of hardware as well. The game offers a journey to a grim world of the future, when the Earth has been almost entirely dominated by merciless robots who have devastated the planet.

The player controls a captain of a pirate ship, whose aim is to gain fame and riches at sea.

In Peach Beach Splash, the female ninja adepts take part in a water gun tournament – the victorious team will have its single wish granted. CI Games allows the players to become Robert North, brother of Jonathan who was the main hero of the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. His task is to set foundations for a separatist revolution by sabotaging Georgian army controlled by Otar Leonidze. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 – The Sabotage doesn't make any bigger changes to the gameplay.

The title is an unusual arena shooter focused not on combat itself, but on collecting matter and evolving. The title focuses on online competitions for up to eight players. Due to the fact that the protagonist is not able to fight opponents, we deal with them only by placing traps on them in strategic places. In return for the elimination of opponents, we receive funds that we can use to purchase more and more powerful traps.

Deceit is a multiplayer shooter with elements of survival horror. The action takes place in a psychiatric hospital. Four people take on the role of healthy patients trying to escape and the other two are bloodthirsty monsters, the aim of the latter is to hunt the rest of the players and prevent them from completing the mission.

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal

A remake of the two first installments in the Senran Kagura series, which originally came out for Nintendo 3DS. The game has a fast-paced, 3D combat system inherited from Senran Kagura: Estival Versus and Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus. Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is set in present-day Japan, and the player assumes the roles of students learning at two competing ninja schools.
