The second installment in the series of arcade music games established by Dylan Fitterer in 2008. The premises were not changed in Audiosurf 2; during the game players race along procedurally-generated, futuristic racing tracks and strive to collect color blocks while avoiding gray ones. The most prominent feature of the game is the fact that the colors and shapes of the tracks are generated according to the waveform of the song that plays in the background, and which can be any song the player chooses. The game accepts mp3, m4a, wav, ogg and audio CD formats. In contrast to the previous installment, this game boasts higher resolution and more special effects. In terms of the mechanics, the main novelty are the new vehicles that we can use and the ability to hover above the track for a while, which allows performing spectacular acrobatic maneuvers and avoiding the problematic parts of the track.

Left Behind is a prequel to the original game, and it focuses on Ellie and her best friend Riley attending a military school in the quarantined area. One day a series of dramatic events occurs, changing both of their lives forever. The premise becomes an excuse to depict the bonds growing between the two characters. The main story is mingled with a subplot which concerns tthe adventures of Ellie and Riley set within the story of the original game. The basic gameplay mechanics have not changed, but since we play as a teenage girl, the gameplay's focus on open combat is substantially reduced.

Terraria: Otherworld is the second part of the popular sandbox platform game, developed by Andrew Spinks and his independent studio Re-Logic. In the game, referred to as “two dimensional Minecraft”, we are given the ability to shape a randomly generated world without restrictions and to create a number of useful tools, utility objects and structures via its crafting system. Terraria 2 has a similar, old-school layout and similar mechanics as the original, but the game features also a huge number of changes and innovations that were not implemented by the author in the first installment of the series. First of all, players were given an infinite number of worlds at their disposal, each representing a different biome, e.g. woodland, arctic, desert, or lunar. Furthermore, character development system, object finding and creation, as well as the interface of the game, were modified. The game traditionally focuses on cooperation of many players, what allows them to collectively raise buildings or fight encountered monsters.

Trainz Simulator: A New Era is another game from the popular simulator series, Trainz that, as its title suggests, opens a new era in the history of the series. The game was developed by N3V Games, a studio created by the series' original developers from Auran. A New Era uses a brand new engine. Thanks to that, gameplay is more realistic and the visuals are of the highest quality. Both the train models and the environment have more details to them, and thanks to the improved physics, visuals, and dynamic weather the game is even closer to reality. Introduction of the new game engine brought many changes, but the gameplay mechanics remain intact. We still design our own railways and test them. Traditionally, there is a set of pre-made routes available and many highly detailed railway engine models.

Her motivation was to save her husband’s memory, before he forgets even about his family. For the whole process to end in success, our protagonist has to return to various details from his current life, and relive them in a sense. However, during the procedure, Gibson realizes that he doesn’t know all there is about his wife, and discovers a dark secret behind the Loading Human project. When it comes to the gameplay, the game reuses the classic mechanisms from adventure games, but thanks to VR devices, the game world is highly interactive, with our hero able to move his limbs, picking up and investigating any encountered object.
