The hero can move left or right only, sometimes pushing static objects, but he has a spectacular way of dealing with opponents – his style of fighting is reminiscent of a ninja fighter. After finishing each stage, we receive a rating in form of stars, whose number depends on, among others, the time elapsed and the number of gathered gleaming balls. Pikmin 3DS is an arcade game with logic elements and the first game in the series to be released on Nintendo 3DS. The game uses completely new gameplay mechanics. We play as a small alien named Olimar, a character known from the previous installments of the series, who explores a brand new planet that he has never seen before. Colorful Pikmin creatures aid him in his task. He can use a whistle to summon them and give them simple orders. We beat the game levels in order to find treasures. We will encounter various enemies and obstacles on our way. Pikmin help us defeat our opponents and beat every obstacle. We use the stylus to throw them at our enemies or at lost objects. Pikmin come in various colors, each of them indicating their abilities, i.e. yellow Pikmin are immune to electricity and blue ones can dive under water. We control a limited number of them during our adventures, so we must give them orders wisely and quickly react to any changes that happen. Pikmin 3DS features colorful 2.5D visuals and the same visual style as the previous installments in the series.

Cloud Pirates is an action MMO game created by the Russian studio Allods Team. The game takes place in the fantasy world of Sarnaut that suffered a mysterious cataclysm thousand years ago. In its result, the world was shattered into floating islands. To improve communication between them, and in order to search for treasures and ancient artifacts, special airships were constructed. In time, the adventurers operating those ships received a new name - cloud pirates. We play as one of them. Gameplay in Cloud Pirates focuses on air battles. Nothing stands in our way if we want to play as a lone wolf, but it is more reasonable to form squadrons and search for the remnants of the old Sarnaut as a group. Defeating more powerful enemies requires us to use our team members individual traits and our joint forces. Ships we can use differ in terms of the design, weaponry, stats, and maneuverability. Victories unlock access to upgrades (not only for our ship, but also for our crew), additional munitions, and unique combat abilities. Allods Team also included many options that allow us to modify the appearance of particular units. The game has colorful visuals.

A mobile installment of the famous platform game franchise by Nintendo, and a typical autorunner production for portable devices. You play, of course, as the eponymous plumber, who constantly moves to the right side of the screen, and your task is to avoid obstacles while eliminating enemies and gathering special golden coins. There are two game modes in Super Mario Run. In the first one, you only have to complete the levels, in the other you compete against the other players, trying to get a better result. What matters here is not only completing the level, but also your method of achieving that. You can also create your kingdom, which is what you use the coins you gather for. The game features the visual style known from the fist installments of the series, although the graphics have been enhanced so that they would not seem old-fashioned by current 2D platform game standards.

Automation: The Car Company Tycoon Game is the debut of Camshaft Software. The game combines elements of strategy and simulation and casts the player in the role of a car-production company's owner. The game begins in 1946 and ends in 2020; the player's main goal here is to transform their company into a car industry giant. The gameplay as such is based on two pillars. The first is constituted by managing the company, which requires mainly to build new factories and develop the existing ones, as well as to adjust to the game's dynamic car market and its trends. In contrast to the majority of tycoon games, in Automation the player can design their cars from scratch. Not only does the player decide about exteriors, colors and equipment, but also deals with technical parameters and plenty of details.

Action, Fantasy, FPP, Internet, Multiplayer, RTS.

A hybrid of an action and an RTS game created with multiplayer gameplay in mind. The plot follows an unending war between two factions: humans and beasts. The main focus of the game are clashes between two 16-player teams. Each of the armies has a commander, whose perspective differs from the rest of the team. The leaders are given a typical RTS interface – they observe the events from a top-down camera, and their tasks include constructing buildings, research, gathering resources, and sending heavy units, such as siege weaponry, to combat. The remaining players take part in a classic action game; they can use firearms – the events are seen from the first-person perspective – as well as melee weapons, with the camera assuming third-person perspective when using them. The key to success lies in cooperation and carrying out orders received from the commander, who has a better view of the battlefield. The game uses Unreal Engine 4, which allowed for high-quality graphics.

Racing, Arcade Elements, Multiplayer, Singleplayer, Isometric View, Toys, Free-to-play.

A mobile reboot of the cult-classic series of racing games, created by Codemasters Software. In comparison to the original, which was popular in the 90s, the backbone of the gameplay hasn’t changed much. The action is once again presented from a top-down view, with the competition between small, remote-controlled vehicles being the mainstay of the game. The races take place on specially prepared tracks, located in such places as desks, kitchen sinks, or a billiards table. The player has to watch out not only for the enemies, but also for various obstacles like cutlery lying around the track, or even spilled glue. The key to success lies in using power-ups and tuning the vehicles – the number of the latter has increased to over sixty, including very fast, exotic cars, hot rods and muscle cars that are popular among tuners, or even atypical choices for a racing game in form of police cars and hovercrafts. The power-ups available in Micro Machines not only increase the vehicles’ performance, but also their battle potential – during the gameplay, we can use shields, flamethrowers, as well as hard-hitting blasters. Aside from gameplay modes present in the previous installments, a new mode has been introduced – Arena – that forces us to eliminate other competitors. Our results can be stored on an online scoreboard.
