Apollo 11 VR shows the events preceding the historic journey, such as: launch of the Apollo 11 spaceship using a Saturn V rocket, the flight to the Earth’s natural satellite, or the landing and the first walk on its surface. The title is described as a new kind of documentary film, featuring only uncomplicated mechanics that fit more to virtual reality than a fully-fledged video game. The events are seen from a first-person perspective, and the players have the full freedom to look around their surroundings. The camera switches to TPP mode only during combat. During the takeoff and landing, we can operate on-board equipment (however, the procedures has been simplified). While on the Moon, we can take a walk, and conduct simple research. Apollo 11 VR takes place in a detailed 3D environment, with a climatic soundtrack and authentic conversations accompanying the gameplay.

She is constantly interrupted by various evil creatures inspired by Nordic mythology and Scandinavian folklore. The game has an unusual form of a flashback that takes place while the protagonist is having a sessions with a psychologist. In the title, we mostly explore and solve puzzles, although we will also engage in arcade challenges. A hybrid of an action and an RTS game created with multiplayer gameplay in mind. The plot follows an unending war between two factions: humans and beasts. The main focus of the game are clashes between two 16-player teams. Each of the armies has a commander, whose perspective differs from the rest of the team. The leaders are given a typical RTS interface – they observe the events from a top-down camera, and their tasks include constructing buildings, research, gathering resources, and sending heavy units, such as siege weaponry, to combat. The remaining players take part in a classic action game; they can use firearms – the events are seen from the first-person perspective – as well as melee weapons, with the camera assuming third-person perspective when using them. The key to success lies in cooperation and carrying out orders received from the commander, who has a better view of the battlefield. The game uses Unreal Engine 4, which allowed for high-quality graphics.

Cloud Pirates is an action MMO game created by the Russian studio Allods Team. The game takes place in the fantasy world of Sarnaut that suffered a mysterious cataclysm thousand years ago. In its result, the world was shattered into floating islands. To improve communication between them, and in order to search for treasures and ancient artifacts, special airships were constructed. In time, the adventurers operating those ships received a new name - cloud pirates. We play as one of them. Gameplay in Cloud Pirates focuses on air battles. Nothing stands in our way if we want to play as a lone wolf, but it is more reasonable to form squadrons and search for the remnants of the old Sarnaut as a group. Defeating more powerful enemies requires us to use our team members individual traits and our joint forces. Ships we can use differ in terms of the design, weaponry, stats, and maneuverability. Victories unlock access to upgrades (not only for our ship, but also for our crew), additional munitions, and unique combat abilities. Allods Team also included many options that allow us to modify the appearance of particular units. The game has colorful visuals.

Interestingly, the player's avatar can get married and have children. What is especially innovative however, is that one's character ages and eventually dies - their soul reincarnates and the player can continue the adventure in the body of the deceased's relative. What is also worth mentioning, is the game's character development system (which is based on skills learned alongside progression), and a complex and demanding combat system. Furthermore, both NPCs and players can give quests. Chronicles of Elyria offers both the PvE and PvP components. Obviously, the player is capable of founding guilds and making alliances as well.

To eliminate the enemies you can use a wide arsenal of weapons, including machine guns, flamethrowers, lasers, shurikens, etc. Pang Adventures offers 100+ various levels set in different locations, like the Arctic, Scotland, the Death Valley, and Bora Bora isles. Battles with demanding bosses are a complete novelty in the series. In PC and console versions, the title also offers cooperation – both local and though the Internet.

Strategy, Polish, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, Tower Defense.

A science-fiction tower defense strategy game developed by Eccentricity Games. It is a spiritual successor to Tower Dwellers, a game released in 2013. During the game the player takes control of one of the three armies, and uses them to conquer the space by destroying all opponents on his path. The story campaign of the game consists of 100 levels, on which one uses various units gradually improved with some of the 100+ upgrades available. The gameplay mechanics in Galaxy Dwellers are similar to other games in the genre. Levels are filled with paths through which the rivals are moving and the main task of the player is to repel their attacks with his warriors trained in various buildings. Additionally, the player can construct support buildings which impact the warrior’s abilities and use special orbital attacks. The action is shown in 2D and uses cartoonish graphics similar to ones used in the game’s predecessor.

RPG, Animated TV Series, Singleplayer, Turn-based.

A mobile RPG based on the world and characters featured in Rick and Morty, an animated series broadcasted on Adult Swim (American cable network). Similarly to the original, Pocket Mortys tells the story of a mad alcoholic scientist, Rick Sanchez, and his naive 14-year-old grandson, Mortimer Smith. The plot revolves around Rick's failed experiment that brought creatures from another dimension to Earth, and our task is, obviously, to stop them. The gameplay is a kind of pastiche of the Pokémon series mechanics. The action is observed from an aerial perspective and the game's focuses lie on exploration, undertaking quests, and fighting turn-based battles against various creatures that we add to our collection throughout the entire playthrough. Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the creators of Rick and Morty, were involved in the development of the game, thanks to which the unique atmosphere of the original TV series was preserved.

An interactive survival horror set in a science-fiction world, developed by Darewise Interactive studio, in which we play as one of the Martian colonists with the task of surviving in the hostile environment. The gameplay mechanics are mostly based on other, similar games from this genre, with the gameplay boiling down to exploration and creation of necessary items using a complex crafting system, which relies heavily on robotics and programming. We also have to take care of various vital parameters of our character, providing him with food, oxygen, and protection from radiation. The game concentrates around the co-op mode, which shows not only in the possibility of working together with other players, but is also necessary to master crafting. Rokh is powered by Unreal Engine 4, offering e.g. dynamic weather and atmospheric pressure, which both have major impact on the gameplay.

An action RPG in the form of a 2.5D side-scrolling arcade game, developed by a Spanish studio, Milkstone. In Pharaonic, we take role of a brave adventurer who tries to unfold the mystery of Ahmosis I, a ruler known as the Red Pharaoh. This won’t be an easy task, as we will face soldiers of the pharaoh’s army, along with countless traps and deadly mythical creatures. The game brings together classic hack-and-slash features and the somewhat old-school style of classic arcade games. Gameplay is inspired by the Dark Souls series, with complex and challenging battle system, adjusted to fit the mechanics of a side-scrolled slasher. We talk with various characters and discover more and more secrets of the story, as well as tens of alternative paths, each of which might be filled with either great treasures or deadly traps. The game is complemented by a character progression and modification system that fits the genre’s standards.

A first-person shooter created by Richard Seabrooke, set in the world of Half-Life. Prospekt started as a fan-made modification that eventually, thanks to the help from Valve and the players' great interest in the game, became an independent commercial product . The story runs parallel to the events of Half-Life 2. When Gordon Freeman is in a need of assistance, his Vortigaunt allies decide to bring in a commando by the name of Adrian Shephard, a character known from Half-Life: Opposing Force. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the game offers an experience similar to what Valve's other games accustomed the players to. During the gameplay, the player explores linear levels and fights encountered enemies. The game also features occasional puzzles. In contrast to the game's early, fan-made mod, form, it received an upgraded interface and lighting system, improved graphic elements, and a better enemy AI.

Party, Humorous, Indie Games, Internet, Card Games, LAN, Multiplayer, Online, Singleplayer.

A mobile card game created by Mathew Inman as an adaption of a popular board game of the same name. Exploding Kittens is unlike anything in its genre and has been developed purely with a group of players sitting at a single board in mind. Rules are incredibly simple: during each turn the players randomly select one card, and the one to draw the eponymous volatile furball is out of the game. All other cards are used to avoid the explosive animal or preventing others from achieving the same objective. We can find among them e.g. passing turn, looking at top threes cards of the deck or defusing the kitty and returning it into the deck in way that other players won’t know where it is.

RPG, Iron Maiden, Music, Action RPG, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.

A turn-based RPG inspired by the works of one of the most famous heavy metal bands of all time: Iron Maiden. The Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast mobile game was developed by Roadhouse Interactive (the creators of Warhammer 40,000: Carnage) and 50cc Games. The title is distributed using the free-to-play model. In the game the player assumes the role of Eddie – the famous mascot of the band, well known from the covers of Iron Maiden albums. Eddie is traveling through a dangerous fantasy world and faces enemies from hell by using various melee weapons (including chains and a knuckle-duster) and magic superpowers. The battles are based on classic mechanics from turn-based RPGs – the attacks are performed alternately with the AI controlled opponents. As the protagonist gains experience, he unlocks new abilities and grows stronger. He also gathers allies who can fight alongside him. Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast offers three-dimensional graphics and during the game one can listen to Iron Maiden songs.

The seventh full-fledged installment in a popular, though niche, series of jRPGs whose characters personify the famous Japanese consoles and development studios. The plot was divided into three, non-connected episodes set in the universe of the series. The game features both characters the players are familiar with, and completely new figures. Compared to the previous installments, the rules and mechanics have not changed, thus the game is a typical representative of the jRPG genre, featuring turn-based combat sequences taking place on separate arenas. Three characters at max take direct part in a fight, and they can undergo transformations during the encounter in order to benefit from their stronger, divine forms. What is completely new here, is the introduction of an additional, even more powerful form, which has brought an additional tactical element to the encounters with the most dangerous bosses.
