A tactical strategy game based on the Warhammer 40,000 franchise and inspired by such games as Clash of Clans. The Horus Heresy: Drop assault is a free-to-play game, which takes the player to the times of the titular Horus Heresy – a long military uprising, which resulted in the deaths of millions of people. Gameplay takes place on two layers – the first one comes down to gathering resources and expanding one’s base by erecting new structures, conducting research, and creating defensive structures. The second layer revolves around the military – the player has to train their army and send the troops to battle in order to conquer the neighboring territories as well as bases belonging to other players (it is also worth considering to form strategic alliances with some players) or the AI. Unlike Clash of Clans, in The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault, the player can move his fighting units with fewer limitations. Both factions fighting the war – forces of the Emperor of Mankind and the rebels supporting Warmaster Horus – offer unique structures, technologies, and units, all of which makes for a diversified and interesting game.

A spin-off of the popular FPS game series by Activision, developed by Ideaworks Game studio for iOS mobile devices. The game is focused entirely on the multiplayer Nazi Zombies mode from Call of Duty: World at War, in which the players team up to fight the oncoming waves of the living dead. The gameplay takes place in enclosed locations that can be prepared for the attack, e.g. by nailing up doors and windows. To fight zombies, you use various kinds of the WW2-era weaponry, knives, grenades, and traps. Killing zombies and fixing the barricades earns you points, for which you can not only buy better equipment but also unlock previously unavailable parts of the map. A single game can involve up to four players playing online, or two players playing via Bluetooth. Compared to Call of Duty: World at War, the graphics of Call of Duty: Zombies have been greatly simplified, but the map layout is almost identical.

Just like in that production, the gameplay of Call of Duty: Black of Zombies is focused on defense against the oncoming hordes of the living dead. The game features the characters and maps from one of the main installments in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops. You can play as one of several soldiers, including Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki and Edward Richtofen, as well as the characters from the secret Dead Ops Arcade mode. The soldiers fight with a wide array of firearms, such as the ray gun, the Monkey Bomb and the SPAS-12 shotgun. One online match can involve up to four players, who take on the roles of their chosen soldiers and team up to defeat the hostile zombies. Call of Duty: Black Ops features a voice chat option to make the communication between the players easier, and a system of microtransactions, which allows the players to purchase equipment and quick revive packs.

Known for the tactical simulation series Breach & Clear, Gun Media studio is the developer of the game. The key figures connected with the film series, such as Sean S. Cunningham, Kane Hodder, Tom Savini, and Harry Manfredini, have had their hand in the production. The action is set in the close vicinity of the Crystal Lake, a location known from the movies, and gameplay revolves around multiplayer mode for up to 8 players – one player assumes the role of the murderer Jason Voorhees and the others play as his potential victims. Jason needs to, of course, kill every other player, while the victims’ objective is to avoid getting murdered and, with a bit of luck and cooperation, to exterminate the masked psycho. The game is created in a way which gives the players a feeling of constructing their own movie script.

An old school 2D platform game developed by independent Polish developer Tomasz Waclawek. The story of the game was inspired by the cult movie Kill Bill directed by Quentin Tarantino. In the game the player assumes the role of a mysterious woman who intends to get rid of five influential owners of a corporation. In order to do it, the protagonist must get through series of heavily guarded locations while being equipped only with katana and a hook that allows her to climb on walls and attach herself to the ceilings. The key to success in the game is the ability to silently sneak up behind the backs of guards and cameras; a good plan and its perfect realization. The battles are played by marking targets and at any moment of the game the time can be stopped in order to plan the next move. The graphics of the game have retro style, similar to platform games released in eighties and nineties.

The developers did not forget about car customization. Traditionally, the title offers a realistic driving model, which can also be adjusted to suit the needs of less experienced players. Apart from the standard career mode, an array of multiplayer modes was prepared, where up to 24 players can compete at the same time. Unlike its predecessor, the game pushes the Xbox One console to its limits, achieving 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.

DomiNations features attractive, two-dimensional visuals in high resolutions, with very detailed objects and good-looking animations of units.

A continuation of a wacky 2D platform shooter, which in terms of mechanics resembles classic games such as Contra and the iconic Metal Slug series. Developed by OrangePixel, the game delivers even more chaos caused by countless bullets, enemies, and explosions making it impossible for a player to calmly analyze the situation on the screen. Luckily, throughout consecutive stages, there are numerous first-aid kits, which are able of healing even a nearly dead hero. Completing the main campaign is not very problematic, even though it has been divided into 56 separate levels. A much bigger challenge is posed by the Arcade mode, in which the player (with only one life) is tasked with covering the longest distance possible. The game features a style typical for other games developed by OrangePixel – simple, 2D visuals are not too elaborate, however, because of the dynamic gameplay, the player does not have much time to notice that.

Gelu, the wielder of the Armageddon's Blade, sets out to destroy The Sword of Frost, which can lead to the end of the world. Tarnum's task is to stop him. By kidnapping the dwarven captain of Gelu's army, he manages to defeat the Blade's wielder. However, it turns out that the Sword of Frost was stolen during the turmoil, and the world is once again at risk. In terms of gameplay mechanics, everything is very much similar to the main games in the series. However, The Sword of Frost offers only a rather short single player campaign, without the option to play individual scenarios. The game also has no multiplayer modes.

During the missions, we control a group of agents and try to finish our job without being noticed. Openly attacking the guards is a rather bad idea and usually ends with our team member's definitive death. Mighty No. 9 is an arcade platformer developed in 2.5D by the experienced Japanese developer Comcept; the title draws inspiration from the renowned Mega Man series. It is the task of our protagonist to eliminate the danger and return the order to the world of the robots. The gameplay mechanics in Mighty No. 9 are very similar to those of the classic 8 and 16 bit console era hits, and during our playthroughs we are faced with a lot of running, jumping through consecutive ledges or platforms, and combat, where we have the chance to use our hero’s powers and abilities. During the skirmishes we are occasionally aided by an additional character, which appears in the moments of greatest danger. The newest Comcept production is powered by Unreal Engine technology; in addition to the single player campaign it also offers a special mode for challenges and the opportunity to cooperate with other users through the Internet.

Because over eight years have passed since the release of the core game, the developers didn’t stop on making new locations and coming up with a new story. The graphics were overhauled, thanks to which the Spellforce universe looks better than ever. Also, a new game mode was added to the, already vastly expanded by the Faith in Destiny expansion, multiplayer mode – namely Survival.

An original sandbox platform game in which we are forced to survive on a foreign and hostile planet. The concept of the game assumes the creative use of a system of craftsmanship, in order to create new objects, weapons and technologies. Light and shadow mechanics also play an important role, which will allow us to survive many encounters with hostile dark creatures.

Produced by Phosphor Games, an independent first person perspective (FPP) action game. The Nether's storyline presents a bleak vision of the near-future world in which a mysterious cataclysm has put an end to human civilization. 10 years after this event a handful of survivors penetrate the ruins of cities in search of supplies, exposing themselves to attacks from bandits and monsters with supernatural abilities, known as the Nether. Gameplay was designed solely with multiplayer mode via the Internet in mind.
