The story of the game takes place a few months after the events presented in Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair. The player controls members of the Pale Team. They are equipped with completely new jetpacks and their task is to eliminate space insects that attacked Earth. The action in Earth Defense Force 4.1: Wingdiver the Shooter is presented from a top-down perspective. The gameplay is focused on combat against hordes of enemies. During the battle the player can use varied weapons and power-ups that increase their combat potential. In addition to regular opponents, the player must face much stronger bosses. The action is also made more interesting thanks to the “Shoot Up Times” – sequences, during which the player stops and fights legions of enemies coming from all directions. The game lacks typical multiplayer mode, but players can compete with each other through online scoreboards.

The main aspect that makes the game different from other fighter games is its main theme. In the game, the player gets to control not regular heroes but gods. This includes e.g. Jesus Christ, Buddha, Zeus, and Odin. The game delivers several modes, one of which is the tutorial allowing the player to familiarize themselves with the abilities features by the character they have chosen. Moreover, one can fight the AI-controlled opponents in the single player mode and face other players in the local multiplayer mode.

In Battle Chef Brigade, the player assumes the role of one of the available chefs, participating in cooking competitions, similar to those featured in numerous TV shows such as Iron Chef. The only difference is that the game is set in a fantasy world, and acquiring particular ingredients requires the player to visit diverse locations and find them on their own. Not all ingredients can be simply picked up - some have to be fought over, while others can be created after combining several items. For example, the player cuts down a Venus flytrap, luring a a chicken, which, having eaten the plant, lays an egg. The cooking itself is based on the match-three rules. Particular ingredients feature various tastes, and combining the same tastes provides better scores. Between the cook-offs, the player can visit the town, practice his skills, and interact with NPCs. The game delivers 2D visuals inspired by the manga style.

A hybrid of a visual novel and a tactical role-playing game. The title was developed by studio Leaf and company Aquaplus. The game is a direct sequel to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and tells the further story of Haku and his friends who are tasked with assuming control of the military forces of the Yamato Empire and using them to protect the territory from hostile neighbors. Like before, long visual novel sequences are intertwining with very short tactical battles. However, the developers introduced some changes and improvements, thanks to which the players gain more possibilities when it comes to using their forces on the battlefield. There are new types of side missions available as well. The battles once again take place on three-dimensional maps with a grid. All units are moving on the grid fields. Although the battles are turn-based, they feature action sequences. When a character performs an action and the player presses a button at a correct time, various bonuses are activated - including critical hits. Other novelties include cooperation attacks, new skills and new types of weapons. Similarly to the previous entries in the series, Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth features high quality two-dimensional graphics. However, the three-dimensional tactical sequences of the game feature simplified character and environment models. The lack of details is compensated with unique style and animations.

Yet another installment in a popular mobile FPS series started in 2009 by the French company Gameloft. Unlike the previous installments, which offered quite elaborate story campaigns, Modern Combat Versus focuses mostly on the multiplayer experience. Up to eight players can face each other across diverse maps in one of the several available game modes. Upon entering the battlefield, the player gets to select one of the agents unique in terms of appearance, preferred weapons, and featured combat abilities. The player is also given a wide range of weapons and gadgets such as machine guns, shotguns, grenades, and special energy shields. As one progresses through the game, they earn experience points, enter consecutive leagues, and acquire numerous rewards in the form of the main protagonist’s elements apparel and skins for the weapons they carry.

In Nexomon, you traverse a world divided into 10 regions, visit shops, talk to NPCs, and complete a variety of quests. Like in the Pokemon series, an important factor is catching the defeated creatures, which join your collection. The battles are turn-based, and in combat you mostly choose the right attacks against the opponents and activate various special items. Apart from the multiplayer mode, the game also features a story campaign with many side quests.

In order to stop the villain the heroes from both dimensions have to find four Infinity Stones and face a group led by the so-called Jedah Dogma. Similarly to previous entries in the series, the title is a three-dimensional fighting game, in which the players participate in two-on-two battles. The fights take place on three-dimensional arenas and include most famous Marvel heroes and characters from Capcom games. The Infinity Stones are a new feature – they provide warriors with additional abilities during the combat.

The gameplay is based on exploration of our surroundings and solving logic and environmental puzzles. Moreover, talking with non-player characters is also an important aspect of the game. The on-screen events, the characters, and puzzles alike have a surreal, even dark feel to them. The atmosphere is emphasized by two-dimensional graphics and matching music.

What is unusual about the game is that we are controlling flaccid penises with wiggly anuses. Our "protagonist" can be dressed up in various clothes which will make him somewhat unique and easy to distinguish among the other "characters" controlled by the rest of the players. Our goal is to penetrate our opponents' genitals and at the same time avoid being penetrated. However, that is not the only thing to do in Genital Jousting. The game offers a couple of different minigames, like racing, herding the dachshunds, or unusual football. Due to the erotic themes, the game is for adults only.

Underrail: Expedition takes players beyond the metro network known from the original Underrail, offering a vast underground basin known as Black Sea. We are given over a hundred locations to explore – including mysterious ruins, pirate strongholds, laboratories, and islands of various sizes – which are traversed on foot or using a boat. The add-on contains new factions, enemies, abilities, and items. Underrail: Expedition increases the level cap, allowing our heroes to advance past level 25. The gameplay itself reuses the rules which governed the gameplay of the original Underrail. As a result, the game world has an open structure, and is seen from an isometric perspective, while our hero completes various main and side quests, battles opponents, upgrades his abilities, and acquires new equipment. The encounters are turn-based, often requiring well-thought strategies in order to win. Underrail: Expedition is a not a stand-alone expansion, and requires the original Underrail.

Another stand-alone expansion pack for Emergency 5 - a 2014's simulation/strategy game by Sixteen Tons Entertainment. The expansion is a both improved and expanded version of the base game. In Emergency 2017, the player gets in charge of a rescue team comprised of police units, firefighters, paramedics and technicians. The player's task is to face the effects of various accidents, catastrophes, and natural disasters. Compared to the previous edition, the creators introduced plenty of improvements and upgrades to the mechanics and eliminated the most common issues. The largest novelty, however, is a completely new story campaign set in modern times, as well as a mini-campaign situated in the Middle Ages, a period where the so-called witch hunts took place. Apart from that, the expansion brings a new K9 unit - a dog capable of tracking those trapped under the debris or locating explosives.

When it comes to mechanics, the game is a classic fighting game, with a complex combo system and RPG elements. We learn to use the heroine’s abilities, including powerful attacks, jumps or dodges, which help her in clashes against single enemies, as well as more demanding bosses. However, the game is varied by the addition of the aforementioned narrator, who tells us which way to go, and points us to next enemies. Interestingly enough, we can ignore these tips, which on the one hand, irritates the narrator, but on the other allows us to discover various secrets hidden around the levels.

AI War II picks up the story 355 years after the events from the previous installment. In the game, a player yet again takes command of the human army that during the past centuries has been preparing for war against the Artificial Intelligence faction. An enemy, who is much more powerful than expected, decides first to deal with other factions, which gives human operatives time to look for weaknesses in the AI’s tactics and defenses. In terms of its gameplay, AI War II builds on the foundation provided by the first installment of the series, and at the same time, it introduces a large number of novelties and improvements. Since the enemy forces are nearly inexhaustible, player’s task is not to annihilate the enemy but to systematically advance to consecutive strategic objectives. Unlike its predecessor, AI War II delivers a fully 3D experience and allows the players to lead to battle not only humans but also the powerful Spire faction, as well as the, missing until recently, Zenith civilization.

Those can be used not only to attack opponents, but also to paint the map – which is one of game’s objectives and allows increased movement speed and faster ammo regeneration. Major novelties include e.g. new weapons (Splat Dualities), moves (Dodge Roll) and heroes (including refreshed versions of the old crew). Controls have been adjusted to both Joy-Con and Pro Controller (a more classic gamepad). It is important to note that in both cases the players can use gyroscope, which is useful for aiming.

A dynamic action platform game with roguelike features. The game was developed by the Polish studio Awesome Games. In Badass Hero the action is presented from a side perspective. The game focuses on exploration of a randomly generated comic book-like world, avoiding many traps and obstacles, and on combat with encountered enemies. The protagonist can use various shotguns, machine guns, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers. By eliminating the enemies and bosses the protagonist unlocks ink that serves as a currency and can be spent on new skills and weapons. Reflex and agility are the key to victory. The player must be careful as well, as death in this game is permanent.

A 3D action game developed for Nintendo Switch which focuses on 1 on 1 battles taking place on secluded, spacious arenas. The contenders are equipped with large boxing gloves propped on springs that allow them to extend to large distances. We can choose from a number of fighters, with each having unique traits and abilities. Additionally, we can choose a set of gloves that correspond to our playstyle – e.g. a slow albeit powerful model, or a speed-oriented set. The arenas are also varied, filled with numerous objects such as traps, obstacles, or springboards. Arms contains an AI module, but player on player combat is the highlight of the game, with both offline and online game modes. The game also employs the unique capabilities of Joy-Con controllers, including its special sensors.

A hybrid of survival horror and a roguelike game, designed exclusively for Virtual Reality headgear. Developed by Firesprite, The Persistence takes the players to the year 2521, when the interstellar voyages are a part of people’s everyday life. The main protagonist is a member of a spaceship crew, which, as a result of an unsuccessful experiment, has been turned into bloodthirsty mutants. The player is tasked with finding a way to restart the engines, allowing him to escape into safer parts of the Universe. In The Persistence, one observes the action from the first-person perspective. During the game, the player explores consecutive rooms and cabins of an enormous ship (the layout of which is procedurally generated), solves numerous environmental puzzles, and fights the encountered enemies using a diversified arsenal. There is also an option to sneak past the enemies’ backs. The main protagonist is equipped with a special device, allowing him to recover stem cells from the bodies of fallen enemies in order to develop particular traits and abilities. Interestingly enough, the protagonist’s death is permanent, which means that each playthrough features different challenges. The entire experience features high-quality visuals.

A collection of six action games based on classic Disney cartoons. The collection was developed by Capcom and it contains games that were released in late 80s and early 90s on Nintendo Entertainment System. The Disney Afternoon Collection contains the following titles: DuckTales (1989), Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (1990), TaleSpin (1991), Darkwing Duck (1992), Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (1993) and Duck Tales 2 (1993). All titles were remastered and adapted to modern gaming platforms. They offer various modern graphic filters and are working in native 1080p resolution. The developers have also introduced new game modes, such as Boss Rush and Time Attack. It is also possible now to rewind the action when the player dies or faces some other difficulties in the game. The fans also have access to bonus materials like artworks and concept arts.

8-Bit Farm is a simple economic strategy game developed by Kairosoft, a studio that specializes in mobile games. Like the title suggests, we take the role of a farm administrator. We will have to maximize our farm's production, continually expand it, and achieve the highest levels of contentment of our visitors, who decided to see for themselves how farms actually work. We begin with planting a couple of basic plants, systematic gathering of our crops (flowers, fruits, vegetables), and rearing of farm animals. As our farm systematically grows, we hire more employees and start the agrotouristic part of our business. Gameplay is divided between the seasons and supplemented with many gadgets that will allow us to manipulate weather, puzzle and arcade mini-games. The game features 8-bit, pixelart visuals.

Hidden Folks is an original puzzle game created by Adriaan de Jongh and Sylvain Tegroeg. Gameplay is based on a simple, although a rather unusual scheme. The game takes place on a dozen or so 2D, monochromatic boards where we have to find all of the targets, which can be characters or specific items. Our search for them is hampered by the necessity to use the game's environment to find some of them (i.e. to find a music fan we will have to turn on the nearby speakers), and the fact that each and every level is filled with objects that will divert our attention. The game offers some clues and a list of items we have to find if we get way above our heads. The visuals and audio definitely make Hidden Folks stand out among other similar games. The game looks as if it was hand drawn by a bored student during a lecture, and almost every element of the game's environment (humans, cars, animals, even robots) have their own unique sounds.

King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare is an MMO strategy game developed by DianDian Interactive. The game takes us to the mythical, medieval England from the Arthurian legends. We play as one of the lords who want to take place of the deceased King Arthur after he fell during the Battle of Camlann, leaving his country in chaos. Only the person worthy of the legendary sword Excalibur can bring back peace and order to England. Gameplay in King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare focuses on expanding our city, gathering resources, taking care of our technological advancement, recruiting our army, and fighting for the Throne. The key to victory lies in the cooperation with other players. In-game chat simplifies that process. When the battle finally comes, we can use not only our regular units, but also one of the titular dragons. The beasts can specialize in either defense or attack, and their character depends on our combat decisions. Spells cast by the Dragon Priestess also give as advantage against our enemies. King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare features high quality visuals, which can be seen in the highly detailed game's environment.

A multiplayer action game by Nintendo, utilizing a free-to-play model. As the title implies, the players take on the roles of Kirbys, who participate in team battles with boss enemies threatening the Dream Kingdom. The team can consist of up to four players, and to win you have to cooperate with others and make use of your strengths. There are four kinds of Kirbys to choose from (Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Doctor Healmore and Beam Mage), and every one of them has their own unique abilities. One Kirby can be physically strong, while the other heals his companions. When your team succeeds, you earn experience points, which increase your stats. Moreover, the resources you collect during the game can be used to craft new equipment. Team Kirby Clash Deluxe features microtransactions — to participate in battle, you need Vigor points, which renew automatically over time, but they can also be bought for Gem Apples, the in-game currency sold for real-life money. Gem Apples can also be useful when you want to continue the battle right after losing. The currency can also be earned as you play by participating in Heroic missions or visiting the Bandana Waddle Dee's tree.

The first one takes place in a different dimension and offers the players dungeons that change on a daily basis, among other things. The second expansion was created in cooperation with the heavy metal band Motorhead and faces the players with three demons that need to killed. Gameplay mechanics remain the same. A standalone expansion to Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations. This time, Warfare Sims offers an engaging universe in which United States and China clash as a result of continuous tensions in West Pacific region. For the United States, a defeat will result in losing the position of the world leader, while for China, an end to its superpower ambitions. The military operations are conducted using previously unseen technology and futuristic types of equipment, including anti-satellite weaponry, high-output lasers, railguns, ballistic anti-carrier missiles, as well as electromagnetic pulses. Aside from the above, we’ve received the ability to conduct cyberwarfare. Cyberattacks can sever the communications between the individual units, making them unable to fulfill their orders. Moreover, the authors have introduced a complex damage system for air units, enabling the individual planes to return to base in order to regain operational capability, as well as the ability to transport units using air and naval units. The single player campaign offers twelve scenarios and four standalone bonus missions.
