The plot of EverQuest II: Destiny of Velious concentrates on the twin Souls of Destiny – according to the prophecy, taking away their power will start the end of the age, a war that is supposed to consume the whole Norrath. The players are tasked with stopping such outcome. The expansion introduces 16 new locations in which the player can complete more than 300 new quests. Among the novelties there are also 6 new raids and flying mounts used for transportation. 30 new enemies will face the players, who can use new pieces of equipment, skills and abilities. Experienced players will enjoy the possibility to fight against other factions for control over underground buildings.

Unlike most typical real time strategy games, Myth: The Fallen Lords ignores the resource gathering aspect, as the gameplay focuses entirely on skirmishes with enemy troops. Moreover, with each successive victory the surviving warriors gain experience, becoming more powerful and allowing us to win the fight even against a seemingly overwhelming enemy force. An undisputed advantage of the production is its fully three dimensional environment and a physics engine, whereby the outcome of clashes is affected by various external factors, and most objects present on the map can be used in battle.

The 15th expansion pack for EverQuest - an MMORPG released in 1999; the expansion was created by Daybreak Game Company. This time, the players were given an opportunity to travel in time - Riftseekers managed to bend spacetime using the so-called Plane of Time. As a result, the world broke into fragments and, as it turns out, one such part is inhabited by a fallen god by the name of Zeboxoruk. In order to stop the dark forces and prevent the cataclysm from happening, the players have to take part in many historical events that influenced the lands of Norrath across their history. What's more, maintaining the right course of those events will be necessary. Seeds of Destruction offers twenty new locations, additional parts of equipment, abilities for the players' characters, as well as brings an opportunity to hire a henchman who offers support in combat. Furthermore, the expansion pack raises level cap to 85.

The debut production from the Polish 11bit Studios, comprised of former members of Metropolis Software House. Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a combination of a dynamic action game with elements of a tactical real-time strategy - attempting an unusual approach to the popular tower defense genre. The story is set in 2018, when strange anomalies begin to occur on the surface of our planet. What also makes its appearance in the game are great war machines that exterminate civilians. We play as a leader of a strike unit sent to Baghdad on a mission to research the phenomena taking place there. The gameplay resembles a typical tower defense game, and the player controls a unit made of several combat machines with different properties. However, the player's task is not to defend their base, but to perform an attack on the enemy's territory and complete a series of missions we have been given. The game features a standard story campaign, as well as challenges that require the player to fight subsequent waves of enemies.
