A sequel to the dynamic action game with RPG features inspired by the Monster Hunter series and developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Like its predecessor, God Eater 2 was made for PlayStation handhelds. We play as a hero wielding a magical weapon, whose party must deal with more and more powerful monsters. The story starts three years after the events of the first game, in which the world witnessed the invasion of monstrous beats, halted only by the titular God Eaters. An arcade battle system is still based on player’s reflexes, and it is important to come out with proper tactic before the fight. Each adversary has its own strong and weak points, discovering which is the key to success. Hero’s weaponry has been expanded with two new weapons: Boost Hammer and Charge Spear. Aside from single player campaign, God Eater 2 offers improved multiplayer mode.

Player can determine their look and abilities by using an advanced creator. Mechanics of the game are similar to ones in previous installments of the series. The action is shown from first-person perspective and the duels with encountered enemies are played in a turn-based system. The game is shown on one screen of the console while the other one is used for displaying map. This map can be freely modified and useful information of various kinds can be added to it.

A science-fiction tactical space simulator shooter. It is the debut title of Marauder Interactive – a studio founded by Mike Tipul, one of the designers of Halo: Reach. In the game, the player assumes the role of one of loyal commanders of dead Emperor, who is tasked with punishing the traitors which caused the monarch’s death. In order to do it, player takes control of a modern fighter jet, Executor Mk II, and commands the remains of the defeated fleet of the empire. The gameplay mechanics in House of the Dying Sun are based on classic space simulators. However, they are supplemented with expanded strategic aspect. During the missions, player is not only tasked with controlling the ship, but commanding a whole squadron through a special tactical screen similar to the one from Homeworld series as well.
