As we play, we take control of Kohem, a warrior who travels the floors of the Monster Tower, in search of answers about the mysterious disappearance of his father. During his voyages, heros gains not only more and more powerful equipment, but also eggs from which monsters hatch - these can accompany him in his struggle and help in clashes with more and more powerful adversaries.
The Lost Child

A dungeon crawler RPG developed by the Japanese developer Kadokawa Games, led by Takayasu Sawaki - the creator of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The main protagonist of The Lost Child is a journalist who investigates a suicide committed on the Shinjuku station in Tokyo. As it turns out, beings from another world are involved in the mystery, and the main protagonist comes into possession of a weapon called Demon Gun Gangour, which is capable of enslaving the fallen angels.
Hazelnut Bastille

A 2D action-adventure game with pixel-art visuals, inspired by a subgenre known as metroidvania. Developed by the American Aloft Studio, Hazelnut Bastille is an attempt to recreate the best features of 2D games released in the 90s for SNES. The creators brought both an adequate visual style and a fitting soundtrack, but they also limited the aspect ratio to 4:3 for example.
Siralim 2

A sequel to the oldschool RPG developed by Thylacine, the creators of the first installment in the series. Siralim 2 doesn't feature a complex plot; you play as the ruler of the eponymous kingdom, who sets out on a series of journeys, during which he has to recruit monsters and use them to fight his enemies. Interestingly, there is no final battle, and the locations and challenges are generated without end.

Hyakki Castle is a role-playing game developed by Japanese studio Asakusa. The developers were inspired by the rich folklore and history of their country. The game takes place during the Edo period and revolves around a wizard sent to a stronghold that serves as a prison for the enemies of the shogunate. Somehow he manages to free himself and take control of the whole building. The player controls a four-person group of warriors sent to stop the mage.
