The seventh major installment in the renowned cycle of racing simulators, that has been the exclusive pride of consecutive generations of the PlayStation console. The Japanese studio Polyphony Digital, having years of experience in working with the brand, is responsible for developing the newest Gran Turismo. The game allows us to test our racing skills by driving numerous licensed vehicles, ranging from mass-produced cars, through custom racing models, to futuristic prototypes.

Developed by Polyphony Digital in cooperation with the FIA organization, Gran Turismo Sport focuses on the titular motor sports, having the player compete for the most prestigious cups and titles just like real race drivers do.

The developers of Assetto Corsa have previously created such games like netKar Pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy. The game allows the players to assume the role of professional race drivers and participate in thrilling races of various car classes – from mass-produced vehicles, through prototypes, to the legends of GT and F1.

Like the first installment, The Crew 2 features open world races taking place all over the United States of America. Players participate in various motorsport competitions and try to beat other players or the AI-controlled drivers.

DiRT 5 is another part of the racing cycle focusing on rallies. The game offers a number of improvements in gameplay mechanics and audiovisual setting. DiRT 5 was developed by the well-known studio Codemasters Software.

In Need for Speed: Payback players get to follow the adventures of three characters - Tyler, Mac, and Jess – seeking revenge on their former partner who betrayed them. In order to do this, they have to face the Familia cartel – a criminal organization with influences nearly everywhere, even the police.

This one was created by recurring Ghost Games Studio (former EA Gotheburg) mostly consisting of ex-Criterion employees. The game's development process was also assisted by members of the Speedhunters community, including photographers, journalists, and drivers focused around broadly understood car culture.

In addition to the Grand Prix and Time Trial modes, for the first time there is also the possibility of two players competing on a split screen.

The game allows the player to assume the role of a driver and join one of the rivaling racing clubs. The player must participate in races and complete missions for which he obtains fame. The fame decides about the reputation of the whole team in the car world.

The title was developed by Swedish-British studio Ghost Games (former EA Gothenburg), aided by ex-employees of Criterion Games. Players can become either drivers taking part in illegal street races or police force trying to apprehend them. As you progress in the game you unlock new cars and useful technologies. The in-built All Drive system allows for seamless coexistence of single and multiplayer modes.

WipEout: Omega Collection consists of two titles: WipEout HD, with an expansion – Fury, and WipEout 2048. The player takes control of an anti-gravity vehicle and takes part in various competitions, racing against the clock as well as other pilots. The individual machines require dexterity and some knowledge of their specifications: handling, speed, or durability.

WRC Generations is the next rally simulator from KT Racing studio and Nacon after WRC 10. It introduces hybrid cars and offers tracks in 22 countries (including a revamped Sweden and 12 other locations for the 2022 season) and 37 historic vehicles.

The Crew Motorfest is a Hawaii-set spin-off of the sandbox racing series The Crew, published by Ubisoft. This time the developers compete with Forza Horizon, placing greater emphasis on sports cars and off-road vehicles.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is a revamped version of the 2010 racing game, offering improved graphics and content for the cradle and all add-ons. Remaster was developed by Stellar Entertainment studio.
