A third main entry in the popular jRPG series, started in 2002 on PlayStation 2 console. The production, developed by Square-Enix, is a closing act of the story taking place in a unique fantasy universe, which combines the worlds of several movies and TV dramas created by Disney with the Final Fantasy series. The main characters are Sora, Riku, and Kairi from the previous games, along with well-known Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, or Goofy. We witness the final face-off between light and dark, the latter embodied by an organization named XIII, led by master Xehanort. While the visuals have been significantly enhanced, Kingdom Hearts III employs the mechanics and fighting system known from its predecessors. We observe the game’s world from third-person perspective, while during the real-time battles we can count on the support from our two allies, each with a unique set of skills.

A third-person action game with brawler elements and another digital adaptation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The title was developed by Platinum Games, an experienced Japanese studio, in cooperation with Nickelodeon. The gameplay mechanics of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Manhattan combine elements known to all fans of the series: dynamic combat with spectacular combos, the possibility of switching between characters, a large dose of humor, and tons of pizza, with the latest standards in gaming, such as open-world environment with a myriad of primary and secondary quests, advanced combat system, or online features. The production offers an extensive single player story campaign as well as the possibility to join forces with others in an online cooperation mode for up to 4 players. The title’s visuals are generated by a fully three-dimensional graphics engine that employs cel shading, which gives the game a distinctive cartoonish appearance.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game is a platform action game released along with The LEGO Ninjago Movie. Just like the previous LEGO games, it was developed by Traveller's Tales. The story in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game is based on the movie's plot. The evil Lord Garmadon brought the Ninjago City to its knees. Lead by the wise Master Wu, a group of fearless warriors decides to face Garmadon and bring peace and order back to the city. As we play, we explore various parts of the Ninjago City, use our heroes’ unique abilities when fighting with enemies, and solve simple environmental riddles and puzzles. The game can be played alone or in co-op with up to three additional players. The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game's visuals are on a decent level and stylistically refer to the movie.

A content-rich expansion for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, a fourth entry in the series developed by Cyberconnect 2. The plot of the expansion, called Road to Boruto, goes beyond the original manga and animated series, drawing from side entries such as Boruto: Naruto the Movie, a full-length animated movie, and the comic series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. As a result, we can relive the events that took place after the conclusion of the Naruto Shippuden series, and take control of completely new characters, which are a part of the next generation of ninja warriors (many of them are the children of the well-known heroes). The expansion doesn’t change the game mechanics in any way, focusing on introducing a new storyline and previously unknown characters such as titular Boruto (son of Naruto) or Sarada (daughter of Sasuke and Sakura). Aside from that, the Hidden Leaf Village received new locations to explore.
