The situation changed this year, when popular streamers became interested in the title. In May, Among Us began to be streamed by singsing and AdmiralBulldog, who have 575 thousand and 705 thousand followers respectively, which familiarized many new players with the game.
In July, eight of the ten most popular streamers in South Korea started to play Among Us. In the same month, sodapoppin (2.8 million followers on Twitch) and xQc (3.7 million followers on Twitch) were also interested in the game. Both usually play with other well-known streamers, which triggered the avalanche we are witnessing today.

September was all about Among Us, and the biggest surprise of October was the horror game Phasmophobia, which dominated Steam's bestseller list.
The last months were therefore a completely unpredictable and, at the same time, fascinating period for the game market, especially on PC. It is good to know that the world can still be conquered by smaller projects without large marketing budgets.
