The Diablo Style Loot mod for Elden Ring is back significantly refreshed, although only in alpha version for now.
Diablo so far has not gone beyond the hack'n'slash arena, if you don't count guest appearances. Nevertheless, for years fans have been hoping for the brand's expansion into other genres. For now, they can only hope for modifications that, for example, add a similiar loot system to Elden Ring.
NOTE: we remind you that the use of mods in Elden Ring in network mode may get you blocked from playing with others. So it's better to limit play with mods to offline mode.
Diablo Style Loot Remastered is - true to its name - a refreshed edition of modder CornflakeRush's project. The original is still present on Nexus Mods, but is no longer supported.
Unfortunately, for now the "remaster" can only be downloaded in alpha version. In practice, this means that the mod does not work with all enemies and locations.
In order to install Diablo Style Loot Remastered it is required to use UXM Selective Unpack, DSMSPortable and ModEngine 2. The modder posted detailed instructions for the mod on YouTube.
The limitations of the beta version and the relatively convoluted installation process have hindered Diablo Style Loot Remastered from gaining more popularity. Nevertheless, the mod has caught the fancy of Nexus Mods users, despite occasional glitches. Hopefully, this project will come out not only in alpha, but also in beta.
