PlayStation Owners Beat PC Gamers at Beating Elden Ring Bosses

How many bosses in Elden Ring have you beaten so far? And how many of them earned you an achievement? We've checked in with players on Steam and the PlayStation Network to see how they're doing against the game's bosses.

129 - that how many bosses you can encounter in Elden Ring. A large number of them, however, fall into the category of minibosses. Some are ridiculously easy to defeat, while others are crazy difficult. In addition, only thirty of them yield us an achievement - not counting the bosses associated with endings, defeating of which is not rewarded with a separate trophy.

Today marks the eleventh day since the release of the latest game by fromSoftware. How do players cope with successive bosses? We decided to take a look at the stats from Steam and PlayStation Networkto verify this.

SPOILER ALERT

The rest of the news contains spoilers from Elden Ring, so if you want your first contact with te game to be as unspoiled experience as possible, we suggest you do not read beyond this point.

Bosses in the Elden Ring

As it turns out, it's not bad - which confirms that Elden Ring isn't all that difficult... at least at first. The first boss, Margit, was beaten by more than two-thirds of players. It's a bit worse with Godric, defeated only by half of those playing on PC (slightly more on PSN). This doesn't necessarily mean that people get stuck on the first demigod they meet - they can just enjoy exploring the open world of Elden Ring.

The exact figures for all thirty bosses that are rewarded with an achievement are shown in the table above. Of course, the further into the forest you go, the lower the percentage of successful players, but that shouldn't come as a surprise. It's been less than 2 seeks since the release of Elden Ring after all, and some fans are waiting for patches - especially on PC.

PlayStation Players Advantage

Perhaps that's why almost every achievement is earned more often on PlayStation. Nevertheless, it could simply mean that everyone has their own pace of play. It's also possible that PC players spend more time duelling in online mode, which requires a paid subscription on consoles.

Either way the game's completion percentage seems quite high (see table above), especially considering its short presence on the market and large size. According to HowLongToBeat.com, completing Elden Ring requires about 43.5 hours. On the other hand, if you want to experience everything the game has to offer, you need to spend 91 hours.
