Fortnite X Star Wars Reveals New Han Solo Easter Egg

With the new season of the Fortnite Chapter 2, another easter egg from Star Wars appeared in the game. Apparently, the game's mascot shared Han's fate.

Subsequent seasons of Fortnite bring with them a lot of novelties, but also visits from other universes. We have already had a chance to see heroes from Marvel, DC Comics universes and recently Kratos from God of War. Of course, in addition to direct cameos we received a lot of easter eggs, this time referring mainly to famous thieves and bounty hunters. One of them is Peely, trapped in carbonite, apparently after he got caught by the Mandalorian or one of his colleagues from the Star Wars universe. The frozen mascot can be found in the Hunters' Harbor at Zero Point (via Reddit).

The appearance of this and other references to Star Wars is easy to understand, even if you omit the iconic status of the image of Han Solo trapped like this by Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back. Star Wars is now the property of Disney, and the label's collaboration with Epic Games has been clearly demonstrated by the appearance of more Marvel superheroes in Fortnite. All the more pity that it didn't translate into adding Han Solo's skin to the game, because it would fit perfectly into the theme of chapter 2. Perhaps this will change in the near future. For now, we have to settle for the Mandalorian, who came to Fortnite along with Baby Yoda (if you still call him that after the name revealing) and a handful of alternative armors.
