Polyphony Digital's head has admitted that the team is considering porting Gran Turismo 7 to PC.
For several years, Sony has been investing heavily in the PC gaming market, porting many of its biggest hits to PC. It turns out that these ports may soon be joined by Gran Turismo 7.
Porting Gran Turismo 7 to PC seems a natural direction for the series. The game was released on both the PS5 and the older PlayStation 4, so the port should work on a wide range of PCs..
Recall that such previous Sony exclusives as Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, God of War, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection or Sackboy: A Big Adventure are already available on PC. They will soon be joined by The Last of Us: Part I, and according to rumors the next in line will be the shooter Returnal.
Some time ago Sony also bought out Nixxes, a studio specializing in creating high-quality PC ports, and created separate PlayStation PC brand, under the banner of which ports are released. In addition, the company also released a dedicated app a few months ago, enabling PC gamers to easily update their DualSense gamepad software.
