Hogwarts Legacy Amazes With Living World and Tons of Surprises

The world of Hogwarts Legacy has a lot to offer, surprising the players with unexpected (and sometimes hilarious) events.

It's been over a month since the release of Hogwarts Legacy, but the game continues to fascinate players. This is partly due to the living world of Hogwarts Legacy, which even after dozens of hours can surprise with unexpected encounters.

In accordance with the sandboxe formula, players may encounter random events as they traverse the open world. Some of them happen so infrequently that even after reaching the maximum character lavel (40) we will not have seen them even once.

An encounter with a dragon kidnapping a cow (or passing us in flight) outside the Hogwarts grounds is quite impressive, but there are even more interesting events. It can happen that our clash with bandits in the Forbidden Forest is interrupted by a herd of centaurs attacking everyone around. Or during the flight we will see a "romancing" a pair of hippogriffs.

Hogwarts Legacy Interactive Maps

We've prepared interactive maps for Hogwarts Legacy that contain the game's secrets, collectibles, Merlin trials, collection chests, ancient magic hotspots, sidequests and more. Make sure to check out our original guide and the interactive maps.

However, we don't have to go outside Hogwarts to witness interesting scenes. On the grounds of the School of Magic and Wizardry (and the village of Hogsmade) we will come across funny situations more than once and more than twice. At least to outsiders, because a student receiving a howler is unlikely to laugh when everyone around can hear his parent shouting out his child's various offenses (or not supporting the "only proper" quidditch team).

Apparently, here, too, the creators showed off diversity. Even after dozens of hours, it is possible to hear new dialogue lines or become involuntary participants in a random event - from encounters with ghosts (unfortunately, also with the poltergeist Peeves) through angry armor and snowmen, to students in unusual situations (for example, levitating due to a colleague's mistake).

The above examples by no means exhaust the list of interesting situations we may encounter in Hogwarts Legacy. If you found any encounters or conversations particularly memorable, feel free to share them in the comments.

Reminder: Hogwarts Legacy is also heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles. On the former two the game will debut on May 5, and on the latter on July 25.
