Lords of the Fallen 2 Only in 2023; Presentation This Fall

More than a year has passed since the last information about Lords of the Fallen 2. Now CI Games finally spoke about the game again.

The new information was found in CI Games' financial report for the past year.

1. We learned that the release is planned for 2023. Previously It was mentioned to be 2022.
2. The marketing campaign is to start in full swing in the third quarter of this year, so we should expect an official reveal of the project no later than then.
3. According to the report, so far the first Lords of the Fallen was played by over 10 million people, so brand recognition is high and CI Games wants to ensure that the sequel lives up to the expectations of those players.
4. Lords of the Fallen 2 is expected to offer a thoroughly reworked and more challenging combat system.

In the report, CI Games emphasizes that since the release of the first part, the action RPG market has expanded a lot and the company wants to take advantage of that.

Currently, Lords of the Fallen 2 is being developed by Hexworks. Involved in the project are 62 people employed by CI Games and third-party development teams.

Lords of the Fallen 2 is scheduled to be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

Other CI Games projects

The report also mentions other CI Games' titles in the pipeline.

1. Project: Survive - survival game created on Unreal Engine 5. The project is developed by BatFields Studio from the Czech Republic, which consists of 25 people, but the team is supposed to grow in the future. The studio is not owned by CI Games, but the brand itself belongs to the company and is to be its third pillar of activity, next to Sniper: Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen.
2. The next installment of Sniper: Ghost Warrior is already in development at CI Games' studio Underdog, previously responsible for Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts and Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2. Currently, the team consists of about 50 people and is also supported by third-party developers.
