New Job Offers in Guerrilla Games - Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Almost Confirmed

An intriguing mention was found on the official website of Guerrilla Games. One of the job offers published by the studio mentions four teams creating an environment in Horizon: Zero Dawn. It seems to confirm that the developer is working on the continuation of the hit from 2017.

All the signs seem to indicate Aloy's return.

Last month we noticed that Guerrilla Games is looking for many new employees. Since the beginning of October on the official website of the company appeared several job offers related to unannounced game in the open world. One of them, concerning the artist responsible for the vegetation design, seems to confirm exactly what the project is. The description of the offer mentions that four development teams create "the stunning environments of Horizon", which undoubtedly refers to Horizon: Zero Dawn. So it seems that the studio is working hard on a sequel.

We first heard about the second installment of Horizon: Zero Dawn half a year ago, when the information about the existence of the second installment came out through the actress Janina Gavankar during Star Wars Celebration Day. These reports were also referred to by Jason Schreier from Kotaku in a sarcastic entry on Reddit . There were also suggestions that the title will not be strictly single player, but will also offer online experience, or that it will include RPG elements. Recent job offers do not confirm this, nor do rumors about the release of Horizon Zero Dawn 2 as the launch title of PlayStation 5. However, they do seem to confirm the existence of the game. The original title has gained critical acclaim and sold 10 million copies in two years, which is certainly a good incentive to develop a continuation.

The new franchise from Guerrilla Games had a very successful launch.
