New on Steam. Journey from the mines to the heights of the Sicilian mob in Mafia: The Old Country starts this week
This week, games such as Mafia: The Old Country, The House of the Dead 2: Remake, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, Artis Impact and Era One will debut on Steam.
Welcome to the series that discusses the most important upcoming releases on Steam. This week is going to be a bit calmer than the previous ones - it will be dominated by one big game.
Release of the week is Mafia: The Old Country (August 7, 2025)
This week we had no problem choosing the launch of the week. Mafia: The Old Country is a new installment of the popular TPP action game series. After the disappointing third installment of the series, the creators decided to go back to the roots and offer a mostly linear story.
This time we will leave the USA, known from previous games, and head to Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century. The title will tell the story of a young miner working in a sulfur mine, who, in search of a better life, joins the local mafia.

Bee Simulator: The Hive
Bee Simulator: The Hive is a game developed by the Polish Varsav Game Studios that allows you to become a bee. The title is an expanded version of Bee Simulator (79% positive reviews on Steam).
August 5th
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a TPP action game based on the license of a popular manga and anime franchise.
Released in 2021, the first installment was highly appreciated - it has 87% positive reviews on Steam.
Gigantes Ex Machina (Early Access)
Gigantes Ex Machina is a bird's-eye view shooter game with roguelike elements, where you control a mech. The game is set to put a strong emphasis on the narrative aspect. The project looks promising - the demo available on Steam was warmly received (it has 95% positive reviews).

Speedway Club Manager 25
Speedway Club Manager 25 is a sports manager that allows you to manage a speedway club. The game was developed by two Polish developers: Marcin Dopierala and Pawel Krzeminski.
Stormgate
During this week, Stormgate will exit Early Access. This is an RTS game developed by veterans of Blizzard Entertainment studio, who previously played key roles in the development of such hits as WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.
The reception of the Early Access version is mixed, so we are curious whether the 1.0 update will be able to save this title.
August 6th
Era One (Early Access)
Era One is a cosmic RTS, in which we will build bases and starships to gain control over the Solar System.
The main reason we are eagerly anticipating this launch is that Team Complex, responsible for the game, was founded by the developers of Complex—an excellent modification for Homeworld 2.
Fate/hollow ataraxia REMASTERED
This week we're also getting Fate/hollow ataraxia REMASTERED, which is a refreshed version of one of the most important visual novel games in history. The original is an absolute classic that has never received an official English version. The remaster will finally change this.
Static Dread: The Lighthouse
Static Dread: The Lighthouse is a horror-themed game that combines a first-person adventure with mechanisms inspired by Papers, Please. We'll play as a lighthouse keeper in a world destroyed by a supernatural disaster. We will have to help ships reach the port, as well as deal with strange characters often knocking on the door of our lighthouse.
August 7th
Artis Impact
Artis Impact is an RPG game with a turn-based combat system and pixel art graphics. The game will take us into the realities of science fiction, allowing us to embody a warrior assisted by an AI companion.
Chained Echoes: Ashes of Elrant
Fans of Chained Echoes are counting down the days until the release of the Ashes of Elrant expansion. The DLC will offer a new story, taking place before the end of the base game, as well as introduce an additional playable character.
Damned 2 (Early Access)
Damned 2 is an asymmetrical multiplayer game in the survival horror genre. Four players will play as survivors trying to find a way out of the location, while the fifth person will control one of the monsters hunting them.
The first installment, released 11 years ago, has 71% positive reviews on Steam.
Gradius Origins
On the other hand, Gradius Origins is a collection that includes 18 versions of seven popular Japanese shoot'em up games. The productions have been enriched with various improvements, new modes, and facilitations.
Out and About
Out and About is a relaxing life sim where we take care of our own house with a garden. One interesting aspect is the educational value, which allows you to learn a lot about real plants, for example.

Ritual of Raven
Ritual of Raven is an adventure game with elements of farming RPG, in which magical helpers will assist us in cultivating plants. All of this will be presented in a lovely pixel art setting.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake
The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a refreshed version of the cult shooter where we fight hordes of zombies. Besides the solo mode, there will also be a co-op available on a shared screen.
Tiny Bookshop
Tiny Bookshop is a relaxing game that combines strategy and simulation elements. In the game, you'll manage a mobile bookshop in a sleepy seaside town.

August 8th
CleanFall (Early Access)
CleanFall is a 2D survival platformer enriched with roguelike elements. We'll play as a robot that can build powerful war machines and explore an underground world filled with aggressive creatures.
