Electronic Arts has officially announced Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered. On this occasion, some details about the upcoming game (including the list of available cars) were revealed and the first trailer was presented. It was also confirmed that the title will launch in November.

The rumors circulating since June have finally been confirmed. After three days of teasing, Electronic Arts officially announced Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered. The title is scheduled to go on sale on November 6 on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and a week later on Nintendo Switch. To celebrate this, the first trailer was presented, available below.
Along with the game announcement, the morning leaks were confirmed. Apart from Criterion Games, Stellar Entertainment is working on NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered, the studio responsible for Burnout Paradise Remastered. The updated version, apart from the base game, also includes all 5 DLCs - SCPD Rebel Racer Pack, Super Sports Pack, Armed & Dangerous Pack, Lamborghini Untamed Pack and Porsche Unleashed Pack - offering 6 extra hours of fun. In addition, the game will provide 30 new challenges.
Fans of multiplayer games will also have reasons to be satisfied. In NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered there will be a cross-play option. Autolog, a system that enables asynchronous competition between friends, will also return.

It is worth mentioning that Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is the first installment of the series, which was developed by Criterion Games. The title launched on November 16, 2010 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
