Rumor: PS5 is More Efficient in Games Than Xbox Scarlett

There are new rumors about the performance of ninth-generation console devkits. According to a reliable source, PlayStation 5 is currently performing better in games than the competitive Xbox Scarlett.

After five months, the PS5 devkit is still ahead of the new Xbox in terms of performance.

The year 2020 has not started yet, and Sony and Microsoft have already launched the next chapter of the console arms race, this time in the ninth generation hardware. Only that, for the time being, both companies are not eager to disclose anything specific, limiting themselves to vague promises. Fortunately, fans of PlayStation and Xbox who want arguments that prove the superiority of one of the devices can count on a variety of leaks. These were provided by Kleegamefan from the ResetEra forum, a former editor of GameFan magazine, who had a lot to say about the upcoming consoles in recent months. Recently, the user has assured that PlayStation 5 performs better in games than Xbox Scarlett. This is in line with the June reports.

Of course, we are talking about so-called devkits, i.e. consoles made available to selected developers, so these results cannot be considered as final in any case. What's more, Kleegamefan believes that this is partly due to the fact that the Sony platform is more advanced in terms of both hardware and software. Therefore, the user does not rule out the possibility that the situation may still be reversed. Microsoft itself has assuranced that it will not repeat the mistakes made in the creation of Xbox One and that it will supply the most powerful console in the market.

Microsoft does not want a repeat of the launch of current-gen consoles.
