Great Ace Attorney and Great Ace Attorney 2 launched in 2015 and 2017, respectively, exclusively in Japan on Nintendo 3DS. They were warmly received by fans, who had been asking Capcom to release English-translated versions for a long time. There are many indications that they will finally get their wish, and soon the Japanese publisher should officially reveal plans to release The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
The title tells the adventures of Phoenix Wright's ancestor in 18th century Meiji era Japan - Ryunosuke Naruhodo. He gets to Victorian Britain where he encounters Sherlock Holmes. In the course of the game they will have to solve criminal puzzles together and battle the defenders of the accused in court.
