The Witcher Online? CD Projekt Will Emphasize Online Modes in New Games

CD Projekt RED has announced changes in its policy of releasing single-player games. Most new titles will receive multiplayer elements.

Yesterday, CD Projekt not only announced many new projects, which stunned many experts from the industry, but also announced a greater emphasis on network modes in its future games. It is possible that the changes may also apply to the new Witcher and subsequent installments of the brand.

The announcement on this matter can be found on Twitter.

Unfortunately, the message does not reveal any details. Here, however, the telling image of Geralt and Ciri from Gwint: The Witcher Card Game, may suggest the implementation of a multiplayer or co-op mode in the new The Witcher, which wasannounced in March.

More smaller games with such option from The Witcher universe can also not be ruled out, (it may be offered, for example, by the already announced projects Sirius from The Molasses Flood and Canis Majoris). We would also like to remind you that 2018 saw the release of the warmly received F2P game named Gwint: The Witcher Card Game. It is also impossible to forget about the canceled multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077.
