February's Windows 10 Update May Disable Your Webcam

February's Windows 10 update, which already caused numerous blue screens of death or gaming issues, among other things, may also disable your webcam.

The latest February update pack for Windows 10 caused problems beginning with installation. Some people started complaining about frequent blue screens and problems with the operation of wireless keyboards or mice. Still others encountered errors when using DirectPlay.

Meanwhile, one of the updates, marked as KB4601319, may cause a problem with the operation of webcams, especially some models from the Intel RealSense Depth series and Razer Stargazer .

According to user reports, the update may cause a bug that uninstalls the virtual driver for the camera in question, causing the device to stop being detected by the PC.
